About this game
Far out in the deepest reaches of space, a young man dreams of seeing the ruins of old earth. He dreams of setting foot on its soil and breathing in its air. He smiles to himself and goes back to painting. Beside him, reading her book, is his only real friend. Sully's the reason he's on this ship in the first place. He smiles again and reaches for another pot of paint.
Sully awakes on cold stone, the sound of pounding rain filling her world. She slowly gets to her feet, the endless rain soaking her to her skin. She looks back at the smoldering wreck of her old life and looks up at the endless black sky.
"At the end, I always thought there'd be stars..."
Follow a starship engineer through through the wreckage of her life as she desperately strives to be rescued from the storm-tossed hellscape she's crashed on. However, it's not just the rain that chills Sully to the bone but the memory of what she's left behind

First patch!
Hello lovely people! It’s already been a month or so since the release of the ITTBS demo! Thank you so much for the feedback received in such a short amount of time! Members of the indie community or not, we all know a game is a arduous journey in the making and getting something out there is no small feat. With that philosophy we decided to stay put with our January release date, even though it wasn’t the fully polished product we wanted to present. But you know what, an imperfect released demo is better than a thousand perfect unreleased ones! Having said that, we’re now embarking on a course of monthly updates with renewed vigour! Welcome aboard, take your seat, prop back your tablet and enjoy the journey as we work to create the best possible version of “I Thought There’d be Stars”. Patch Notes: Feature: Added objective markers, pointing to necessary interactions Update: Changed text font on all menus Fix: Fixed crafting tutorial collision issues Fix: Fixed audio issues on day 4 Update: Changed dialogue to updated script versionRead full article on Community Announcements (CPTNBandana)
