The Clown's Forest: Shadows of Blood - Coming 2027!

Hello Everyone!Today I would like to announce The Clown's Forest: Shadows of Blood It is a game set concurrently alongside The Clown's Forest 2: Waking Shadows. So what is Shadows of Blood? Well, Shadows of Blood focuses on Officer Dragon, set after the events of Chapter 0 of The Clown's Forest 2. Officer Dragon was kidnapped by Chester, and taken to a familiar location. But, unfortunately... Blitzo isn't too keen on letting you escape. Officer Dragon needs to try and escape from Blitzo, while you meet familiar and unfamiliar faces. This game initially started development as a Bonus Campaign for The Clown's Forest 2. The reason I turned it into a separate game is because there hasn't actually been a standalone game in the series since September 2023. (These past three years I have been focused on fixing bugs and overhauling both the first and second games because I wasn't happy with them). This game is due out in early 2027, and is being developed alongside the last two games in the series. The Clown's Forest Zero: The Origins of Blitzo - Prequel set 10 years before TCF1 and 2, during the Hartown Amusement Park Massacre, following Oliver Fox and Joey Sawyer as they try and escape from the freshly murderous Blitzo. The Clown's Forest 3: The Final Act - Set 6 years after TCF2, and 16 years after TCF Zero, Michael and Ethan began living a normal life, thinking Blitzo and Tabitha had finally given up. Unfortunately, it wasn't going to be that simple. Blitzo and Chester returned, kidnapping Michael, Cody, and Ethan, and taking them back to Hartown Park. One last time. What is happening with The Clown's Forest 3?

Hello everyone!Today I want to tell you all the truth on what is ongoing with The Clown's Forest 3: The Final Act, and The Clown's Forest series as a whole. As you know, I originally announced The Clown's Forest 3's Demo to release on May 15th, unfortunately, RPG Maker started giving me a lot of issues regarding the development such as unfixable bugs, crashes, corruptions, etc. I effectively lost 3 years of progress on The Clown's Forest 3: The Final Act. I will be transparent that I have discovered the reasoning behind this. When I started working on The Clown's Forest back in 2022, the engine crashed, corrupting the whole project. Because of this, I had to reverse engineer the demo so I could continue development from that. After releasing The Clown's Forest, I duplicated the project and began working on the sequel, since I didn't want to rebuild it all from scratch. This made The Clown's Forest 2 a bit... unstable. I had a lot more crashes and issues. Then I did the same for The Clown's Forest 3 which ended up pushing the instability to it's limits.I discovered this by booting up an old spin-off project called 'Rosemary's Orphanage' and realizing none of the bugs I had on the Clown's Forest projects had carried over to this project since it wasn't a duplicated project, and was built from scratch. Because of this, The Clown's Forest 3 is temporarily cancelled and I am working on Rosemary's Orphanage while I work on the next instalment in The Clown's Forest series. The next game in the series will be 'The Clown's Forest: The Insanity Trilogy' a Remake of the first 2 games, and including a prequel game called 'The Clown's Forest 0: Origins of Blitzo' (I know, what an original name) All I request is patience as we begin working on a new chapter in this series. The Clown's Forest: The Insanity Trilogy will be different enough to where the original games, The Clown's Forest and The Clown's Forest 2 will not entirely be obsolete, but they will not be canon. (TCF2 actual...

    TCF2 Update 1.2 - Softlock Fix

I am pushing a small patch for The Clown's Forest 2: Waking Shadows that fixes a softlock in Chapter 2, when you get to the Longhurst Asylum where you can re-enter the basement access room where you split up from Ethan, and it reactivated the cutscene which softlocked the game completely. Thank you Patergeist for reporting this issue to me!
