World Content Update
After finishing the first pass of our non-player character systems, we turned our focus to the implementation of non-player character content. Now that our core code-base is complete, our primary goal is the creation of vasts amounts of playable content. Over the last 4-5 months, we've built an elaborate set of tools to make content production much easier for our small team. Therefore, going forward expect to see frequent updates with small bursts of content. In the meantime, here is a list of our latest implementations: - 12 new non-player character; 5 quest givers - 10 new quests - 3 interior instances - 200+ new weapons (Axe, Greataxe, Sword, Greatsword, Dagger, Hammer, and Greathammer types) - 10 new armor sets - 2 new magic gauntlets - Character leveling progression - Skill level progression - 4 new environment combatants - 17 new building elements including indoor and outdoor light sources - Many new interactive sources including light sources - 5 new towns (WIP) - Massive overall update nearly all aspects of the game. Throughout the rest of this week, we'll be focusing our attention on completing testing of 12 more quests and the inclusion 23 new non-player characters for many of the new towns. We'll also be completing the implementation of the new Tutorial Panel and Skills Panel (which will feature a skill tree preview). We will also be finishing the skill system which will allow the player to trigger unique attacks with melee and ranged weapons, and various magic spells with magic conduits such as magic gauntlets and wands. Since our last major update, we've brought on an amazing Systems Director for the project, and he's slowly fleshing out combat, tools production, and gameplay systems to take the game to the next phase of production. So, expect to hear more from him and so much more over the next few weeks!Read full article on Community Announcements (Boxicity Game Studios)Patch NotesOfficial
