Embark on a wild 2D adventure as Davo, the mullet-wearing hero, navigates Dusty Springs and battles corporate foes. Experience unique Australian flair in this indie action-adventure game.
About this game
Welcome to Dusty Springs—a sleepy outback town where the mullets are long, the stubbies are cold, and the local bogans are louder than a magpie in mating season.
All is as it should be in Dusty Springs, until life takes a wild turn and the nearby opal mine digs up more than just shiny rocks. These ain’t your average gems—they’re packed with spooky spirits and weird powers, warping the land and turning the local wildlife into beefed-up bush terrors.
Enter Drill and Thrill—a dodgy megacorp with more money than morals. They move in faster than a seagull on hot chips, snatching up the mine and milking it dry. As things get weirder, they do what any greedy company would: blame the local bogans. Next thing you know, Dusty Springs is in full lockdown—no footy, no servo runs, and worst of all, no pub.
Meet Davo—proud bogan who loves a good pint. When his beloved watering hole shuts down, he’s had enough. With his thongs on and a heart full of sausage rolls, Davo sets out to save his town, expose Drill and Thrill, and maybe even punch a few drongos along the way.
Explore Straya
Strap in for a wild ride across the weird and wonderful Aussie outback. From the blistering heat of the red centre to the Opera House itself, the land down under is packed with secrets around every corner.
Dive deep into cursed opal mines that twist reality itself, unearth ancient bush legends, and maybe even ride a rogue emu or two.
Throw Down
Menacing magpies. Bulbous bin chickens. Ravenous redbacks. The outback’s crawling with trouble, and Davo’s not afraid to throw down. Arm yourself with whatever’s lying around—cricket bats, pub darts, or even your trusty ligher.
With plenty of toe-to-toe knuckle sandwich showdowns, combat in Aussie Bogan Hero is a glorious mess of backyard brawling and improvised mayhem. It’s not about finesse—it’s about fightin' dirty and lookin' good in a singlet.
Bonza Upgrades
As Davo makes his way through the treacherous Aussie outback, he’ll come across some fair dinkum upgrades to help him on his journey. These ripper tools let him crack tricky puzzles, take on tougher enemies, and reach places he couldn’t before.
From a dodgy old lighter that doubles as a flamethrower to a used goon bag perfect for gliding through the air, Davo’s keen to make the most of whatever he can scrounge up to survive the wilds of the outback.
True Blue Laughs
From snarky one-liners to pub-worthy banter, Aussie Bogan Hero is dripping in true-blue Aussie humour. Satirical, shameless, and proudly Strayan—it’s the kind of comedy that’d make your nan gasp.
So grab your thongs, crack open a cold one, and join Davo on the bogan-est adventure out of Australia. 'Cause sometimes, it takes a legend in a singlet to save the day.

ABH Demo Update – Full Keyboard & Mouse Support
A new update is now live for the Aussie Bogan Hero demo! The biggest change is a major overhaul of the control system. The demo now has full keyboard and mouse support, along with a much better key and controller rebinding system. All control signs, button prompts and related text throughout the game will now automatically update to match your current controls and bindings. It probably sounds like a small change, but this ended up being a pretty massive job behind the scenes!I've also fixed all bugs that have been reported to me so far. Thanks to everyone who has played the demo and taken the time to report issues. It really does help me get the game ready for release.Cheers!Read full article on Community Announcements (willwdaniels87)AnnouncementsOfficial
