Step into the role of a scientist in CultureHouse, an adventure game where your choices shape the fate of a declining world through cultivating mysterious Geneo.

About this game

Welcome to CultureHouse

This is home to Dr. Ipse, a scientist who disappeared seven years ago — a residence he once shared with his family, doubled as a research facility. Within these walls, you conduct cultivation experiments on strange organisms known as Geneo.

A World in Decline

War and a disease known as Cornea are driving civilization toward a slow collapse. The means to halt its progress may lie hidden within the cultivation experiments conducted at CultureHouse.

Anomaly Subjects

Unexplainable phenomena, known as Anomaly Subjects, occur within CultureHouse and its surroundings. Photographing and recording them yields Boundary Crystals, a material essential to the cultivation process.

Geneo (Genesius Organismus)

The organisms cultivated at CultureHouse, known as Geneo, take on different forms depending on the conditions in which they are raised. Some may pose a threat — to the world, or to you yourself. Overcome them, and the truth behind Dr. Ipse's experiments will begin to reveal itself.

Now, let the experiment begin.

Across two days and over 15 hours of studio time, voices were recorded for six characters, based on a 48,000-character script. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44422793/62bc51b1d7536ed0059fb2135d3677c55f63c420.jpg In February 2025, a demo featuring character voices was exhibited at 'ENCOUNTERS,' the results showcase event for the Agency for Cultural Affairs’ Media Arts Creator Development Program. Many attendees had the opportunity to experience the game on a large screen in an art space setting. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44422793/3924f366a2e33d2813a29bd4fd57ed62582e6f0e.jpg CultureHouse remains committed to creating games that explore and express their artistic potential.
