Embark on a unique roguelike journey where you upgrade abilities, craft turrets, and collect pets to outlast hordes of enemies across four seasons. Released in 2023 by Pixel Sprout Studios, Sun Down Survivors blends action, adventure, and strategy for an engaging survival experience.
About this game
Play as Darius, recently crowned Demon King of Withergate, Lucia, Archmage of Sun Haven, and Jas, Master Summoner, or Artemis, Amari Bounty Hunter. With the help of over 13 unique abilities, defend your home against hordes of quirky yet dangerous monsters by using weapons and spells such as:
- Swords, bows, and snowball launchers
- Fireballs, magical auras, and lightning blasts
- Stinky egg cannons, piercing carrot ballistas, and milk machine guns
- Puppies, dragons, and even handsome lizard archers
Upgrade your weapons, skills, pets, and abilities by gaining skill cards, which are drawn every time you level up. After every loss, make sure to use the weapons rack and anvil to unlock and upgrade your character and ability stats across all 4 characters permanently! Grow in strength, create your perfect build, and send those monsters packing!
Use your limited daytime hours wisely to craft, collect resources, and access the shop – or you may end up overrun by monsters. You’ll face constant waves of enemies during the day, and once Sun Down comes, the fighting gets even tougher!
Collect resources to build over 35 crafting items. By growing and selling crops, ore, and animal products, you can earn gold to purchase spell, weapon, and ability upgrades! The upgrades you purchase with money stack indefinitely!
Can you defeat Dynus and his hordes of monsters before it’s too late?

Sun Down Patch 1.3
Hey everyone! It's Director Bruce with a patch to rebalance the whole game, fix some bugs, and add dozens of points of polish to the game! While Sun Down Survivors started as a game that was incredibly difficult, as time has gone on, players have improved dramatically-- even new players, who have gained EXP through playing other games across the genre. So while a lot of these balance changes are targeted towards making the game difficulty curve slightly smoother, they also just make game more difficult to accommodate all the extra level ups players have had across the genre. Survivors genre games are simply just more fun when the game challenges you to make tough decisions and try new different builds or characters. Along with this patch to rebalance the game, for next patch, we're also going to be adding in a final boss and add more depth to the game to make more deep builds. We can't wait to show you what we're working on!
