Venture into Enigma Manor and face the unknown within a procedurally generated mansion. Join up to three friends for cooperative gameplay, battling monsters, solving puzzles, and seeking an escape route in this early access indie title from Necroactive.
About this game

- Limited Resources: Scavenge the manor for ammunition and health items to protect yourself from the monsters that lie within, but use them wisely as resources are limited.
- Puzzles: Collect keys around the area to unlock new rooms, find more items and get access to a variety of different puzzles. Solve these puzzles to get one step closer to escaping.
- Hardcore: Getting out alive won't be easy, there are no checkpoints and no saves. You only get one chance to escape, and you'll receive a final rank based on your performance.

- Rooms: The layout of the manor is procedurally generated each time, so players must learn how to navigate through the area as they play.
- Items: Keys, resources and other such items are spawned in different locations of the map for every playthrough. Search rooms carefully for everything you need to survive.
- Enemies: Monsters are randomly selected and spawned around the area, so you never know what might be waiting for you on the other side of a door.
- Locks: Doors can be assigned with various different lock types, or even without a lock entirely. Remember which keys are required and only carry what is needed.
- Puzzles: Puzzles are chosen at random and their solutions are changed each time, which makes problem solving necessary to escape.

- 4 Players: Play alone or with up to 3 other people, invite players to a private server only accessible to you and your friends.
- Co-operative: Work together to escape and leave no one behind, share resources among each other to ensure everyone has a fighting chance.
- Proximity Chat: Use the in-game proximity voice chat for the best experience, listen closely as your friends scream in the distance.

Update 0.4.0
INTRODUCING CUSTOMIZED SCENARIOSAccessible from the lobby screen when playing as the host, press the cog icon on the bottom right of the panel and use the left and right arrows on the screen to cycle through the game modes. Click on the image for customized scenarios and then adjust the settings to however you see fit.Fully customizable experience that allows you to adjust settings to fit your playstyle. Toggle puzzles, enemies, weapons and more. MAP GENERATION SETTINGSThis new mode gives you full control on how the level generates. Is there a difficult puzzle you wish you could disable? Or maybe you just want to have fun and spawn 100 ghosts to see how long you can survive? Well with the new custom game mode you are free to do whatever you want, and play the way you want to play! It's available right from the start, so no need to worry about unlocking it. You can toggle puzzles, enemies, items and also set the number of spawns for each. I'm planning to add a lot more modifiers to this mode in the near future, perhaps even some silly ones that may come to mind. If you have any ideas you would like to see added, feel free to reach out! Note: Achievements are disabled in this mode. CHARACTER SELECT / UNLOCKABLE COSMETICSAlso accessible from the lobby screen but available for all players, press the clothing icon in the top right of the panel to open the menu. The red border around the icons highlight which character and cosmetic are currently equipped. HOW TO UNLOCKWhile all character models are available from the start, the cosmetics are locked behind achievements. This is to reward players for taking on the various different challenges in the game. In order to view which achievements are required, simply click on one of the locked icons and it'll tell you at the bottom of the panel. Green text means you've already unlocked the achievement, while the red text means you are still missing that specific one. Each cosmetic has two achievements tied to it that are both req...Read full article on Community Announcements (Necroactive)Patch NotesOfficial
Update 0.3.0
Hey guys, sorry for the long hiatus! I know it's been quite a while since the last update but I still do genuinely want to create a great game for everyone. The main focus of this update is to address a lot of the feedback I've received up to this point, and create one big update that will hopefully improve the enjoyment for all players! This is the first game I have ever developed and it has been a huge learning experience for me, thank you to everyone who provided their input and have followed the game this whole time! It shows me that you actually like the game and want more, which makes me incredibly happy! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44083563/c443178eeef7e474ea3f1d76d5d17fa5f8a13722.jpg INTRODUCING CHAPTER SELECT The biggest addition to Update 0.3 is the inclusion of chapters, allowing players to experience all of the content in a more structured format. Offering three unique scenarios with different settings and fixed layouts, this new gamemode will allow newer players to get used to the gameplay before trying out the randomized mode, which is still available separately from the lobby screen. The most common piece of feedback I received was regarding the steep learning curve of the game, players found the randomized map confusing and wanted more direction when it came to the puzzles. Each chapter will provide players with an ingame map item that will help them navigate through the area, as well as written notes that explain the various puzzles found within that level. There are also notes that go into detail about the unique behaviour of stalker enemies, telling players about their triggers and how to avoid them. Puzzle solutions will still remain randomized to provide some variety, and enemies can be randomized by selecting the Nightmare difficulty. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44083563/380c4251e2fd05c3905b9e03da1eaac2120bbd19.png NEW ENEMY TYPES Each chapter introduces a new enemy type into the game, each with their own unique set of behaviours. For example, the Mutant has a c...Read full article on Community Announcements (Necroactive)Patch NotesOfficial
Added discard system, public lobbies, and offline mode
Added a discard system for getting rid of items that are no longer needed. For example, the king key can be discarded after opening all the king doors and the radio can be discarded after solving the puzzle. Added a singleplayer option that will allow the game to be played offline without an internet connection. Added the option to choose between starting a private and public lobby when hosting a game. Added a new menu for finding public lobbies that have available space and have not started yet. Added the ability for the host of a lobby to kick other players. Items will now be retrieved from players who disconnect midgame and store them into the item box. Ammo will now automatically split into stacks of 20 when storing it into the item box, allowing players to share ammo amongst one another. Made it so that a key will no longer spawn if there isn't any doors for it to open. Pause screen will now display the list of players in-game. Fusebox for the elevator will now be highlighted. Added new notification if test tube resets back to default when mixing chemicals. Added new notification for when wrong valve handle is used in the greenhouse. Made the colour of the blue valve more distinct to avoid confusion with the green valve. Fixed issues with French translation for ammunition not displaying the amount. I want to continue to work on adding more content to the game, but if you run into any issues with the latest update let me know and I'll make it my priority to fix it first. I have some cool ideas planned for this game which I'll posting more about in the near future!Read full article on Community Announcements (Necroactive)Patch NotesOfficial
Added custom map sizes
Added the option for the host of a lobby to change the size of the map. This will allow newer players the chance to learn puzzles/game mechanics in a much smaller environment before delving into the full-scale manor. Since the large map is technically still the main game, most achievements are disabled for small and medium map sizes. Only 'Mastermind' and 'Runaway' will still be obtainable. This is only temporary as I do plan to add more achievements in the future. The number of zombies and resources will also change depending on the size of the map: Small Map 1 Floor (Around 40 rooms) 30 Enemies (1 special enemy type) 3 Ammo boxes per weapon 4 Puzzles Medium Map 2 Floors (Around 65 rooms) 40 Enemies (2 special enemy types) 4 Ammo boxes per weapon 8 Puzzles Large Map 3 Floors (Around 80 rooms) 50 Enemies (3 special enemy types) 5 Ammo boxes per weapon 12 puzzles I also added an objective bar to the inventory screen that shows which escape route has spawned and the player's progress toward accessing it. I'll be working on implementing a discard system, as well as a few other additions that were suggested. If you have any feedback always be sure to let me know in the Steam Discussions board, thanks!Read full article on Community Announcements (Necroactive)Patch NotesOfficial
