Balance & Beasts | Patch 1.15
After taking time to step back & look at the game as a whole, this update aims to give a better player experience alongside new content! This update offers a wider spectrum of difficulty, cleans up buggy interactions, balances the power curve for the player and enemies, and creates more opportunities for intriguing deckbuilding. I hope you enjoy! This is a large patch, so here's a TL;DR: - All Enemies Adjusted + New Enemies - Many Action Changes (Buffs, Nerfs & Reworks) - Focus Rework - Base Game Difficulty decreased - New Difficulty System (now "Heats") - New Pathing System added, Map Generation Reworked - HUD Rework + More QoL Settings - New Content! (New Actions, Artifacts, Perks, Events) - Many many bug fixes. Difficulty Changes I aimed to lower the difficulty of the base game, which was done mainly through enemy nerfs and requiring less XP to level-up. For those who liked the tougher challenge, there is a new Heat System that allows players to have more control of the game's difficulty. Hopefully this gives a larger spectrum of gamers free Reign! Enemy Reworks & New Enemies All enemies in the game were changed in one way or another. These were mostly nerfs and moveset changes, but also include a few complete reworks. With these changes, I hope the game feels like it challenges you at a better pace than before! There are also 12 New Enemies, some with multiple forms. Buff & Debuff Changes - Strength has been renamed "Power", and made more rare throughout the game. - 3 new "Strength-like" Buffs: Brawn, Cunning, and Precision. Like Strength, each of these buffs add damage to each roll, but only for specific weapon types. - New Buff: Crit - Chance to deal 1.5x more damage from Attacks. - New Buff: Maxed - Next roll is guaranteed maxed. - Shocked (Rework): When damage is dealt, 50% change to pass all shock. Take damage = Shock at turn end. - Thorns no longer ticks down. Decreased Thorn availability for Enemies + Player. - A few other new Buffs to encounter! Pathing ...Read full article on Community Announcements (Lyrus)Patch NotesOfficial

Patch 1.13
A patch of fixes, along with a couple Action system changes, Settings for Borderless mode, & Automatic Crash Reports. Stay tuned! Other fun stuff is coming. Action Systems Changes & Tooltip Readability Improvements: - Some Actions have a static effect (eg: Inflict 1 Exposed), but based on how the Action tooltip used to read from top-to-bottom, the order in which effects would resolve were either inconsistent, or ambiguous. (this caused questions like: does it deal damage, THEN apply Exposed?) - Now, Actions with these static effects (and others, such as Centered and Trinity), will trigger these effects when the Action is played. This change affects many different Action interactions, made some Actions stronger, and made some weaker, but ultimately made the effects more consistent. - This hopefully should make understanding what an Action does easier! - This change did involve me painstakingly going through all 300 Actions. I did my own QA but I apologize if there are any mistakes I missed. I'll correct as quickly as I can if they are found! New Settings: - New Setting allows for Automatic Crash Reports. If you enable this setting and the game crashes, relevant game information will be sent directly to me to help me fix it! Should have been a feature long ago, but I'm still new to this! - (Experimental) Resolution & Borderless Settings added. I am still trying to figure out some issues with booting the game in Windowed/Borderless mode if you have multiple displays, but any window displacement should correct itself once you arrive at the main menu. Balance: - Fragile (Debuff) reverted - gain 50% > 25% less block - Pre-shield (Warrior Perk) Buffed - gain 1 > 2 Block at turn start Enemy Balance: - Changed Golem Forms around. Ice Golem was replaced with a Poison Golem. - Reworked Diearies Fixes: - Fixed Blocksmith perk giving an additional 5 Block when player has Sturdy - Fixed an issue where sometimes an Artifact / Action would not register as discovered when it was alr...Read full article on Community Announcements (Lyrus)Patch NotesOfficial

A decently sized patch - Draft mode got some further tweaks to decrease difficulty, more bugs fixed, & more content! There's still a few more elusive bugs I have yet to get to - but every patch gets closer!
