About this game
The industrial and mechanical world of The Abandoned Presence is a dangerous place full of dark secrets. Playing as Zoe, a young woman who grew up in this unforgiving city, you’re tasked with the challenge of fighting your way to the heart of urban colonization to uncover its cruelest secrets.
In true Metroidvania fashion, by exploring the hidden passages of the vibrant city, you’ll unlock new perks and abilities, including wall jumps, double jumps, and air dashes. Use your new tools to access new areas and discover more dark secrets hidden within the city.
Exploring the urban jungle of The Abandon Presence is no easy task. Zoe will face the challenge of patrol units, elite enemies, and mechanized bosses, all hoping to keep the city's secrets under lock n key.
Fighting your way through mobs of enemies will reward you with resources to learn new combo-focussed skills. Each weapon offers its own skill tree to learn, with will increase both its combo potential and its stagger potential.

The Abandoned Presence Kickstarter is Now Live
After working for more than 16 months on The Abandoned presence, the demo is now ready for you to play! I am part, the solo developer behind The Abandoned presence. It is inspired by own city and its heritage presented in a ruins imagination. The demo aims to establish the premise of the overall game, giving you a glimpse of all the mechanics you can expect. Currently, The Abandoned presence is far from the final version. Hence, I need all your support to continue this exciting journey and eventually deliver a polished game and fully realised world, inspired by urban India. The game will develop and update as we advance. The demo is only the first chapter of the game. The whole story combines many more chapters.
