In the far north, a strange melody has been luring all manner of monsters, misfits, and miscreants into the depths below. A mysterious power lurks beneath, but to uncover the secrets of this place, you'll need to be equipped with all the wit, strength, and cunning that you can muster, in your Journey to the Rift!

Uncover the secrets of a mysterious dungeon in this text-based adventure, where every adventure is different! Establish a base camp, venture forth into the dungeon, and get ready for the many puzzles, monsters, and other strange denizens that await! Tackle each encounter in your own way, with each situation having multiple ways to progress.A different adventure with each playthrough
With over a hundred unique encounters, no two playthroughs will be the same. To add even more variety, the residents of the dungeon will react to how you have handled previous encounters, allowing you to discover different secrets based on how you play! The choices you make will have far reaching consequences beyond the dungeon, so choose wisely!Make your base camp, a base home!
Between episodes of spelunking you'll need a place to rest and recuperate. Grow your base camp into a burgeoning settlement complete with everything you'll need for your adventures. Expand enough and you'll attract an eclectic gang of characters that can offer their help, while giving you more opportunities for special quests and adventures!System Requirements

Journey to the Rift: The Dwarven Halls, releasing 22nd November!
I hope you’ve all been enjoying your adventures in Journey to the Rift! For those of you who want more, I’m happy to announce the release of the first expansion pack for Journey to the Rift: The Dwarven Halls! Now don’t worry, for those of you who enjoy the free game, that will still be available to enjoy for free, forever. However, if you want to experience more puzzles, more intrigue, and more adventure, then The Dwarven Halls will deliver. The Dwarven Halls will introduce a whole new floor to the dungeon, which you can explore instead of the normal second floor in the dungeon. The Dwarven Halls, as the name suggests, were once home to a contingent of dwarves who managed to break away from the dungeon, and made themselves another home underground. However, one of their many experiments yielded unexpected results, so you will have to contend with the curious contraptions of the dwarves, as well as the stout stalwarts themselves! Look forward to The Dwarven Halls, releasing on the 22nd November for the price of £4.29/$4.99.
