It’s an idle game! It’s a battle game! It’s a SPACE GAME! Welcome to the ultimate interstellar road trip. Travel across the cosmos, collect rare and honorable crew, then use them to battle against friends and foes alike in this unique (and oddly addicting) adventure!
Indie, Free To Play, Strategy, Early Access, Casual · 2023 · More free games
Explore endless space adventures by collecting unique crew members and engaging in strategic battles. Star We There Yet? offers a blend of idle fun and intense combat, perfect for both casual play and competitive play with friends.
About this game
A wholesome mix of idle “Catch Some Zs” gameplay and “Catch Them All” combat, “S.We.T.Y?” features a huge cast of loveable and loathsome characters, faster-than-light space travel set to a slower-than-slight soundtrack, and tons of intriguing destinations to discover and then immediately leave behind.
Fun to play for five minutes or five hours, it’s the perfect game to play in between other more demanding games!
Featuring:
- A cast of 65 characters to collect, each with their own special abilities and winning personalities. Just so many personalities.
- A relaxing (and oddly addicting) idle space travel experience. Crank the cosmic-y tunes and tap your ship to get up to max speed. Or just use the auto-tappers. That’s what they’re for.
- Hundreds of stories and Missions for your crew, as they encounter black holes, super novae, hostile aliens, evil twins, space cows, hair stylists, cosmic horrors, and Larry.
- A unique Merge PVP battle mode, with highly advanced turn-based combat. Merge ships together to form your fleet, deploy them to attack your enemies, or activate your Crew’s special abilities!
- Basically unlimited planets and star systems to explore. Well not really - but there’s a lot. Space is big! It’s right there in the name.
- A super chill soundtrack that will make the lightyears roll by in a contented vibe.
- Optional in-game purchases can boost your progress (and feed our artists), but the game is completely do-able Free To Play. Just like a real post-scarcity futuristic society!
“Star We There Yet?” is a fresh and flavorful blend of different game styles, with a little something for everyone. When fully operational, it will allow players to battle across platforms and continents and probably solar systems eventually.
What are you waiting for? Play Space Game: Star We There Yet? and set a course for adventure! (And cosmic horror. As previously mentioned.)

Hello Voyagers! It's Weennnnnnnndnesday! A couple of quick fixes and changes: The "distance remaining" timer is now better - it won't go up. Zwolf confuses the computer a little bit with his "Wha?" ability. Cutscene text is larger. Space cows won't appear if you're watching a cutscene. "Queue sitting" rewards in the matchmaking lobby are spread out a bit more. Meteor Shower has been substantially buffed: it lasts 45 seconds (up from 30) and spawns debris very fast. It's more of a fire hydrant than a shower. The "free" complete mission time has been reduced to 2 minutes (from 4:50). The gem cost has been reduced overall. BIG Update! Version 22.7 is Here!
Hey voyagers! To say we've been busy is an understatement. We've got a ton of new features to release today! In addition to a bunch of quality of life improvements and gameplay tweaks, we're adding three new features based on suggestions from users - Super Space Junk, Mega Boosts, and Friend-Password battles! Super Space Junk are like the little Space Junk objects you collect, but BOSS mode. They have HP, boss music, and everything. And the Mega Boosts are special cool-down abilities that give you more options and temporary upgrades whenever you need them. These two features give players more to do and look forward to in the "idle" part of the game. And for enjoyers of the Merge Battle system - we've added ways to make battling with friends much easier - Friendly Battles! Just queue up for battle, create a "password" by picking three Crew characters, and send that info to your friend. Then when they queue up - boom! Friend fight! Friendly battles also don't cause you to lose Crew if they die. So play as much as you want! The rewards for victory have been toned down though from regular PVP, so keep that in mind if you're looking for battle loot. There's lots more in this update, and we're cooking up lots more stuff to add to the game as well. Stay tuned, check out the build, and read up on details below! (Feature) Super Space Junk has been added to the game! These "uber" junk can yield huge rewards like Aurite and even Gems, but must be destroyed in a limited amount of time to get them. Their HP scales depending on the rarity of the item, and can be destroyed faster if your manual tap level is high. Some of the junk require a minimum destination and/or warp level, so keep on tappin! Even if you can't completely destroy them in time, they will "shed" a portion of the reward at various HP percentages, but the biggest reward is granted by destroying it. (Feature) Mega Boosts have been added to the game. These special abilities cause a number of temporary effects, includ...Read full article on Community Announcements (Space Game: Star We There Yet?)Patch NotesOfficial

Hey! Listen! Patch Notes: Version 21.6 Grandma Ozie's starting drones have been reduced from "3-2-2" to "2-1" to give her less kick at the beginning of that battle. She's still very tough! Added crash debugging for users experiencing any.. anomalies. Engineer clones have been recycled pre-emptively. Can't be too safe. Hey! Listen! Patch Notes: Version 21.5 An aggressive marketing campaign graphical bug where store products would appear very large has been fixed. Marketing clones have been recycled. The word lists for randomly generated names and battle IDs has been de-naughtified. Grammar clones have been recycled. Retreating from password protected battles before actually playing now yields smol-sized rewards. Dewards, even. Shark noises have been heard nearby. Can sharks swim in space? I heard they can. Patch Notes: V21.4
I made dis. Patch Notes: Version 21.4 Friend/Password battles! Create a key, then destroy your friends! Cloning gel for everyone! The mission auto-fill button is now green. Green is the color of trees and grass, neither of which are found in space. Story battles have intros and end cutscenes. Of course, you have to defeat them (mwa ha ha). Sorry, not sorry. The lawyers insisted on confirmation dialog boxes for gem purchases. We recycled the lawyers, but then realized they were right, so we built it. Watching boosts past the cap no longer resets your boost. There is no "minus world" in space. Nice try, Mario. Ace Pilot (Sir Archibald) has been reduced from 3 damage to 2. Archibald is getting old. And slow. And old. Frantic Orders (Lilith) has been reduced from 5 drones to 4. Lilith switched to decaf, and is slightly less angsty. Slightly.
