About this game

"You always hear about this happening, but never expect it to happen to you"
'TraumaCore Violence' is a 2D Action Game starring "Uzi",
a girl who has just receded into the depths of her psyche.
//COMBAT:
Combat is done through crazy high flying combos with an in-depth input and animation cancelling system.
Almost all attacks are frame-1-startup leading to a particularly snappy and fast paced combat feel,
allowing you pull off to insane chains and combos once you master your moveset.
//MOVEMENT:
Your attacks aren't just attacks, each move can alter or add to your momentum,
allowing for insane speed once you understand how every move works and effects your speed/direction.
//COMBO SYSTEM:
Every kill, a combo.
Kills will increase your combo meter, keep a combo going until the end of the level and you will receive a massive point bonus,
or cash-out your combo for its weight in health, whichever you feel matters most.
//FULL CAMPAIGN CO-OP:
At any time, you can go into the game options to enable a fully functional 2-player co-op mode,
take on your problems with a (imaginary) friend.
(This requires two controllers to be connected)
//STORY&VISUALS:
Uzi is trapped within her own psyche, plunged into the depths of her own mind trying to figure out how to escape.
The atmosphere and visual style intentionally pulls from a style coined "TraumaCore",
in which heavily edited stock and/or familiar images and/or art are used to fuel a sense of overwhelming stress and dread.

TRAUMA MODE ADDED
-Added Trauma Mode, which has a written tutorial at the start of the mode -Actually fixed bug where you would get softlocked in slide tunnels -Some co-op bugs fixed Trauma Mode: -removes the parry -shotgun costs health instead of ammo -parry key trades combo for health -no other differences and NO changes have been made to the main game outside fixing the slide bug, any other differences are exclusive to trauma mode (mostly changed behavior for a single enemy)Read full article on Community Announcements (LynnV)AnnouncementsOfficial

"Huh. Okay..." SLIDE ISSUE MITIGATED
OKAY so I think I finally actually found the line of code causing the slide bug, and while I don't think its entirely fixed (there's still one way to activate it I don't really understand) the way I've most commonly seen people activating it is for-sure fixed. so that and a bug that let you shotgun out of the teleport animation so you could go flying through walls at insane speeds has also been fixed. Have fun! and be sure to join the Discade Discord if you wanna share clips, speedrun times, highscores, or bug findings! Once again, this time with vitriol (New Micro-Patch)
Hi guys, I finally decided to get off my ass and make a small patch to the game! -MAYBE POSSIBLY MAYBE SUPER MAYBE the sliding getting stuck in walls issue is finally fixed, idk I've "fixed" it so many time I have no clue at this point. -Stages can no longer be stopped from ending because the player wont collect a point during the stage end animation, there is now a timer that overrides if this happens (Uzi will very suddenly go pop and the stage will forcefully end)Read full article on Community Announcements (LynnV)
