  The HARDHATS update!

  Why: As previously mentioned, this previously intended to be "spin-off" game is now available for free as part of Voxile.What: It consists of 5 worlds that play quite different from normal Voxile, you are building a multi-stage building plan quest with your friends, in the middle of a survival world. Coordinate getting resources, crafting with the new "Machine", placing objects, building supports, going on expeditions.. intended to be played in co-op!Where: You can find these 5 maps when you host a new multiplayer game, but they are also in the SP menu for now if you first want to have a quick look!Our previous trailer of the gameplay:

  6/17/2026 Update!

  * New world: Trash Panda Park! (see screenshot), a kickstarter backer world.* Rendering: per voxel normal rendering, giving a less busy, more pixel art / painterly look to the game. You can change it in the display settings.* Adventure worlds have been overhauled to allow the crafting progression consistently in all of them.* When jackhammering or damaging the world, it now spawns material blocks for you to pick up.* Hands/gloves: you can now pick up and carry stacks of smaller items.* ProcGen: 6x6 and 9x9 landscape block modes.* Sound engine overhaul.* Buildplans: clearer indicators of placement problems, improved visualization.* Carpenter Tool: windows with glass panes.* Carpenter Tool: show current size, materials and mode.* "Machines": can craft objects in the world! (More in a future Hardhats update).* Nailguns, sledgehammer and dynamite items.* Multiplayer: you can now grab items other players are holding.* Multiplayer: show list of other players on HUD.* Multiplayer: others using carpenter tool now visible.* Multiplayer: many issues fixed.

  Voxile spin-off game Hardhats announced

  VoxRay will be launching a co-op only “build plan” focused demo “Hardhats” at June Steam Next Fest (free to Voxile owners)We have been experimenting with a new kind of gameplay based on the Voxile engine that centers around co-operatively building elaborate build plans. We’re going to launch this as a separate game from Voxile, since it is entirely focused on this “building a lego set with friends” gameplay, and does not include the traditional adventure/quest and procedural survival worlds you can experience in Voxile.While building will be your “main quest” in this game, you still have to collect resources and fend off monsters, augmented with more co-op and building specific gameplay features!Voxile will continue to receive the content that fits that game better, in fact we have quite a few worlds lined up for Voxile that we will be releasing. Worlds we’ve teased before like Dead Water, Factory Ascent, and some kickstarter backer worlds we are finally wrapping up. We haven’t forgotten you! Also, because both games are based on the same engine, most UI & feature improvements for the new game will also benefit Voxile and vice versa, and will come to you in build updates as before.We are grateful for the support you’ve given us with Voxile, and we hope you will support us while we try out this spin-off title “Hardhats” in the next few months. In particular, there will be playtests for it sometime soon that we could use your help with! Hardhats will be released at a lower price point since it is a smaller, more focused title than Voxile, but regardless, as a thank you, we’ll make sure that there will be a way to receive free keys for the Hardhats for everyone that has bought Voxile (details to follow closer to release).Any success with Hardhats will help us support both titles going forward, and anything else new we may cook up, so please join us in this adventure!Wishlist here:

A mysterious force has stripped the Crystal Cathedral of all of its crystals! Build a path through the spectral fog and battle the undead in your search for crystals to repair the cathedral.Visual Building Plans: see a transparent view of what you're building as you add the pieces!Overhauled Carpenter Tool: windows with glass panes! building your base is more fun than ever! Reach new places easily!Falling object physics has been much improved, objects can now even break if falling from high!NPCs and monsters engage in combat with eachother, use this to your advantage!Grenades increase destruction to new levels!Much improved Procedural Survival mode with lots of new points of interest to discover!This coincides with 40% off the game - get your friends to buy, play with them in coop, let us know your experience!
