About the Game

An arcade shoot 'em up with a twist! Pop increasingly intense hordes of balloons, unlock characters with unique abilities, and go on an adventure spanning multiple worlds! Complete a variety of challenges along the way, unlocking various levels which provide unique obstacles.



Complete a variety of fun challenges across exciting locations! Replay with different characters to master them and achieve bronze, silver, and gold medals!




Travel between worlds to take on your foes, save your friends, and then play as them! Each new character you unlock offers a unique ability, offering various playstyles.




Go the distance in an endless barrage of balloons with your name on them (no, not literally).
Get as far as you can while an endless barrage of balloons goes after you! Each level provides a twist and a different threat. Track your progress with the scoreboard.




Go up against the villains behind this balloon invasion! Each boss offers a unique challenge for the player to overcome. From Popping the Queen Balloon to scaring off the Maw!

  Future Goob Updates and Our Next TWO Games!

  Future Goob Updates!? We have been working on an update for GoobnBalloonsDX that will go live in the next month or so. We aim to smooth out some of the rougher edges of the game, and rebalance the single player content to make some of the later levels and achievements more… achievable. :|We also have a few surprises regarding the GoobnBalloons franchise that are coming a little later this year… What are those surprises? Well, you will have to wait and see! So about those “Future Projects”... That's right! We have been working on two brand new games! :D Tongue Traveller is a hand-drawn puzzle game about a frog who uses his stretchy tongue to solve puzzles: Project Parvus (Working Title) is a deck-building action roguelike where you battle the denizens of hell in a bid to become the Demon King: (We are still working on the promotional art for this one! Art by Tony Tran by the by!) So how do we play these games? Great question! :D We are working on an early public build for both Tongue Traveller and Project Parvus(again, a working title) that we aim to release first on our patreon, next to our discord community, and finally, to other store fronts (for free of course). During this time, We are hoping to get as much feedback on the games that we can use to improve the game! We don’t have an exact date yet, but we are fairly confident that these early builds will be released this year!   Changes / Additions: - Added the sprout, pumpkin, manly headband, traveler's cap, Santa, snowman, and "plz_delet" hats. - Maniacal balloon tackle intensity has been lowered. - Eyesic no longer shoots spikes when too close to the player on the y axis. - Lowered the encounter rate of Toucan’t in Goobstar, Goobstar Heights, Seaside Silhouette, and Underwater Graveyard arcade stages. - Made many balance changes to Goob Odyssey, addressing the more challenging stages, making them much more manageable.
