In Lunar Industries, plan and grow your first realistic moon base, mining resources and shipping them back to Earth. Navigate boardroom pressures in this early access simulation from 2026.
About this game
Hello Commander,
You have been tasked with a very important mission, one that will change humanity as we know it. You must travel to the moon and start your colony. Your employees will need somewhere to live after all. Start harvesting and refining the precious resources scattered across the moon and send the processed materials back to Earth. Your success is determined by not only your colonists' happiness, but more importantly, the happiness of the board of directors back home.
Best of luck.
Build and Plan
Plan the literal foundations of your colony and start providing a home away from home for your colonists. You’ll need to provide housing, food, and other key facilities to your colony while also managing the psychological impact of living on the moon if you want your colony to not only thrive, but also to survive.
Lunar Survival
Being far from home is difficult for anyone, but being hundreds of thousands of miles away in a harsh environment is something else entirely. Your colonists will need your help dealing not only with the mental ramifications of being on the moon, but also the physical threats that come with it. You’ll need to protect them from radiation poisoning and help them overcome the side effects of zero gravity life if you want to see your colony grow.
Real World Science
Use proven, real-world technologies to develop your colony, explore the surface of the moon, mine and refine resources, then ship your spoils back to Earth. This isn’t science fiction; this is real science and technology that you implement on your journey to establish the first lunar colony.
Attention to Detail
Not only will you need to manage your colony’s happiness and resources, but you will also need to keep the members of the board happy. Not making them enough money with your mining? They’ll cut your funding and shut down your colony. Managing the needs of your colony versus the demands of the board will be the difference between success and failure.

A Better Guide System, and a Long List of Fixes
Hello Industrialists and Astronauts!A smaller update this time, and a practical one. You told us the guidance was either too much or not enough depending on who you are, and that the two switches controlling it did not quite line up. So they are now one setting with three levels. The rest is a long list of fixes, nearly all of them from somebody pressing F8.One Setting, Three LevelsSkip Tutorial and Show Guide are gone, replaced by a single choice. Full runs the opening tutorial and keeps the guide boxes and the wiki markers on. Basic skips the tutorial and keeps the guides, for when you know the game but not this part of it. None turns all of it off. It sits in the New Game setup and in the Options menu, each level explains what it does before you pick it, and you can change your mind inside a running save. Existing saves are carried over to the matching level on their own, so nothing changes underneath you. And Everything ElseMost of the changelog below started as an F8 report. Alert text that ran off into one unreadable line, a close button that stopped working when you switched a building off, base view icons that would not leave the screen when you opened Contracts, event titles shouting in capitals, a reward icon squashed into an ellipse. Small things on their own, and exactly the sort that wear you down over a long session. You Make This Possible 💖Thank you, as always, for the reports and the threads. This update is a short one and almost every line of it exists because somebody took the time to tell us. Please keep pressing F8 in game to send us bugs and feedback. A New Guided Start For Your Journey Ahead
Hello Industrialists and Astronauts! We have just released a new version that takes care of the thing you told us about most. The beginning of Possible One throws a great deal at you at once, a base, a crew, a supply line and a company to run, and you told us plainly that it was too much. So we went back and rebuilt some of the early missions from the ground up. Possible One now opens with a new guided start that walks you through it one piece at a time, from your first look at the lunar surface all the way to your first fulfilled contract, and new missions further along carry that guidance into the parts of the game that come after.Built, Not ReadNo wall of text, no video you sit through. The ground marks the tile, the menu offers only the building you need, and the game waits while you place your first Corridor, Habitat and Scout Bay by your own hand, on the real Moon, in the save you keep playing afterwards.Room to LearnHunger, stress and crew rotation stay frozen until you deliver your first water contract, so take your time. Skip Tutorial still skips the intro, and the guides can be switched off in the New Game setup.Guides That Follow You OutA short guide box now appears the first time you meet something new, points at the part of the screen that matters, and steps aside on its own if you are busy. Mining sites, ordering from Earth, refineries, storage, power, heating, spare parts, crew stress, the Research Lab.A Voice From the DeskThe Chief has a lot more to say. The text on your screen tells you what to do, and he tells you why it matters and what it costs if you get it wrong. What Comes NextWe are already deep in the next one. A new system is coming for the star base, and it changes what you actually do up there. It is not ready to show yet, so keep your comms open. You Make This Possible 💖Thank you, as always, for the bug reports, the suggestions, and the long Discord threads that run well past midnight. You have been telling us the same thing for a while now...Read full article on Community Announcements (Lone Wolf)AnnouncementsOfficial
The New Astronaut System Is Live for Everyone
Hello Industrialists and Astronauts! The wait is over. The New Astronaut System has left the beta branch and is now part of the main game for everyone, together with the reworked construction grid. No opt in, no password, just update and meet your crew. It is ready to play.If you spent the last weeks on the beta branch, thank you. Your reports shaped this system more than any update we have shipped so far, and we fixed a long list of issues before sending it out to everyone. You can now switch your Beta Participation back to None, everything is on the main branch. What Is the New Astronaut System?Your astronauts stop being headcount and become a crew you grow, rotate, and look after. They have divisions, skills, and a life back on Earth between tours. Running a healthy base now means running a healthy crew.Specialized Divisions, every astronaut belongs to a crew division with a core role and advanced jobs they can train into. Build the team your operation actually needs. The Rotation Loop, out on the Moon an astronaut's tour timer counts down. Bring them home to Earth and they rest and recover while it climbs back up. Homesick, not gone, a change driven by beta feedback. An astronaut whose tour runs out no longer retires for good. They become Homesick, keep working at reduced efficiency until you ship them home, and take longer to recover from the overstay. Earthside Operations, a new hub where you hire, rest, and heal your crew, train them up, and load the next shuttle down to the lunar surface. The Upgrade Tree, spend hard earned skill points to specialize into an advanced job, unlock permanent perks, or cross train as a backup in another division. Go deep, or go wide. Crew Management Hub, one screen to oversee your entire roster, assignments, rotations, and the next shuttle manifest. You Make This Possible! To everyone who opted into the beta, played it hard, and pressed F8, thank you. You caught a bug that could freeze every vehicle on the surface, you told us the...Read full article on Community Announcements (Lone Wolf)AnnouncementsOfficial
