The year is 2915, and humanity has begun colonizing star systems close to Sol. On Proxima C5, Terran mining colonies have become the target of a brutal alien assault. As a member of Strike Force Delta—an elite interstellar commando squad—it’s up to you to reclaim the colonies and push back the Gacrux threat. Choose to fight solo, join forces with friends in co-op, or face off in adrenaline-fueled PvP arenas across a stunning, futuristic landscape.

Assault On Proxima - Patch - V1.02
Greetings Space Soldiers! Assault On Proxima Patch Version 1.02 has been deployed and is now live on Steam. This patch addresses the problems with the game Settings Menu and the following systems should now be working as intended: Bug Fixes The Field of View (FOV) Slider will now save correctly upon closing and re-opening Settings, or when closing and re-opening the game. The FOV slider is now working as intended. The Camera Sensitivity Settings Slider, on the Camera Settings Menu now saves correctly upon closing and re-opening the game. The Camera Sensitivity Slider is now working as intended. Motion Blur can now be completely disabled and the Motion Blur Slider now works as intended, when Motion Blur is enabled. Motion Blur Settings now save when closing Settings or the game. Keyboard and Controller Input Bindings now save correctly when closing the Settings or closing and reopening the game. If the game does not automatically update to V1.02 please try forcing an update by switching to Offline on the Steam client and then going back Online again. This patch address's all of the Settings Menu functionality problems that some users had reported. We apologize for any inconvenience these Settings issues caused to users and we hope you can now enjoy Assault On Proxima with full Settings functionality. PATCH - Assault On Proxima - V1.01
Hi Assault On Proxima players! Assault On Proxima entered full release on Steam this week. Unfortunately we discovered a long running issue with the Back End Configuration inside Steam which was causing some users to be delivered an incorrect ( older ) version of the game. Patch V1.01 has been applied, and the issue is now fixed. The Steam Client should automatically update your game to the latest version. When launching the game please Check the Version number at the top left corner of the Main Menu. It should read: Release V1.01 If for any reason it does not, please close the game and force an update by: Steam Menu -> Go Offline. Navigate to your Library -> Assault On Proxima Click Go Online. You should then see the "Play" button turn blue and say Update, and the game should update, correctly installing Version 1.01 on your computer. If anyone encounters ongoing issues or other bugs please do report them in the Steam community forum for AoP. Assault On Proxima Enters Full Release V1.00!
Salutations Space Soldiers of Strike Force Delta! Today, March 10th 2025, Assault On Proxima is entering Full Release on Steam after 1.5 years in Early Access! In the one and a bit years that AoP has been on Steam Delta Video Games has been very pleased to share the game with our players. Now it's time for Assault On Proxima to enter a new phase! Between the initial Early Access Release and Version 1.0 Full Release on Steam we've made some improvements to the game: A new Checkpoint System has been added for single player and multiplayer campaign. Player progression through each level has been improved, so no starting again from the beginning. New team mates joining your game will spawn with you! We added the Class Selection Info Screens that tell you more about your chosen class. We've made improvements to player Shield Visual FX, including adding the Shield Damage UI indicator. Lots of bug fixes and improvements to general systems. The game's mostly bug free! Assault On Proxima in Full Release in March 2025 is an over all improved game to our initial Early Access version! I'm Dyoto Orion, the Lead Developer at Delta Video Games, and I want to be 100% honest with our players about the development cycle and future of Assault On Proxima. When we released AoP into Steam Early Access in May 2023 my team and I had a lot of ambitions and goals for Assault On Proxima, including adding many more features and an additional 5 gameplay levels to add an Act 2 to the game. I'm sorry to say that Delta Video Games, over the last 1.5 years, was not able to realize those goals. That's not due to lack of trying, or effort, but just because of minimal resources and budget. In August 2023, Delta Video Games development focus shifted to our forthcoming fantasy RPG: Mythrealm. Because of that we weren't able to devote as much time to developing AoP.
