About this game

Metal March: Beginner Experience is a free playable preview game of Metal March.
This version game is includes 1 race and 1 region, a total of 2-3 hours of playable time. You'll see the overall flow of the game, the initial strategy, etc.

The full game includes the following!
  • CHESS-inspired turn-based strategy game mixed with card collection genres.
  • (Based on our current updates) Select your troops from 5 races
  • Race-themed areas
  • 7 types of unique troops and 10 types of unique magic powers per race
  • More than 10 types of troops and 20 types of magic shared among troops
  • More than 40 kinds of relics

The world has turned into complete chaos. The fragile peace between races has shattered and trust is in short supply. As tensions rise and old alliances crumble, all the races are now preparing for an expedition to the World's Roof. Which one of the races will be the first to reach the Roof? Only YOU will be the one to know.

Get ready for an epic adventure to claim the powerful relics atop the World's Roof!
Remember, you must be the first to take over the relics at the World's Roof before others. But beware, time is running out. You must be the first to reach the relics before others.

With the help of the Wandering Wizard, you can briefly monitor the battlefield and control your troops.
You can identify each of your troops with tin dolls with different appearances.

All troops have their own movement / attack patterns.
In addition to the attributes and characteristics of the troop's powers, these movement and attack patterns are also essential factors that you need to consider in strategy.

Thoroughly plan your strategy and win. Effectively win the battle by moving troops where the enemy can't counter-attack and quickly retreating to a position the enemy cannot follow. Strategies like this will matter.

MAGIC can be a key that completes your strategy.

With Magic, you can either protect or strengthen your team. You can also choose a strategy that destroys enemies with magic attacks.

Your magic combination also plays a vital role in the battle. Even within the same collaboration of troops, strategies vary depending on which magic spells you cast and in what order.

There are 4 races that you can select for your troops. Each race has its own strengths and weaknesses.
You can overcome the weaknesses of your race with the skills and magics of other races.

To succeed at the beginning of the expedition, some races need to focus on using their unique strengths while others need to work on overcoming their weaknesses.

There is another way to strengthen your troops and magic skills... RELICS!
RELICS provide special effects and synergies in ways that can't be obtained from other sources.

With relics, you can increase your income during the expedition, add beneficial effects before starting a battle, strengthen certain types of troops & magic powers, and weaken your enemies.

You can only activate a limited number of relics, but you can replace them at any time except during battle.

Choose and use relics according to your needs and circumstances!

Version 6.0 Update and Official Release!

{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43216254/5560ac246e9baeaae7d9c1fc6601b1aec2700235.png With all of the game's foundational content complete, we've moved from Early Access to Official Release! New race Savage Unites has been added. New region Red Mountain has been added. Added 2 new troops from the Relic Guardians from World's Roof. Added 10 new achievements. AI calculation speed has been slightly improved. Added Honor difficulty. In Honor difficulty, enemies are stronger, their troops and magic grow faster, and there's more room for strategic exploration during battle. Fixed an issue that caused text to go out of frame in tip popup. Fixed an issue where cards displayed in the UI would show a few tags. Added 3 Silver Coin Pouches and 3 Crimson Stone Piles to each region. This will hopefully reduce the total number of battles, making them less tiring. ? region can no longer be traversed. We've changed the balance of defense. We hope this will alleviate an issue where units with higher defense felt more valuable. The damage of the Fire Dagger has been recalculated. It now deals about 20% more damage than before. Conflagrate damage increased by 30%. Intelligence has been changed to only increase the effectiveness of Destruction magic cards. Instead, it now increases the effectiveness of Weapon cards by 2% for every increase in Strength. The effectiveness of Resurrection has been increased by 100%. While many other resurrection-related effects have been increased, we still haven't balanced this card. Death Bringer's Raise Dead troop summon reduced from 21 to 15. All weapons have had their damage increased by approximately 10%. Previously, we thought it was efficient because of the large number of weapons that could be used multiple times, so we concluded that the weapon cards were actually handicapped because they tended to stiffen the hand, even though they were 10% weaker than normal destruction spells.
