Uh-Oh

Look where your inability to leave well enough alone has gotten us all. What started as an innocent day of general slacking, resistance collusion, and commercial espionage has somehow devolved into a cross dimensional odyssey with the lives of all your friends (and some of your foes) on the line!

In the mysterious depths of the videohole, reality is warped, memories are twisted, and the very nature of past events is obscured in literally the most inconvenient way possible. Cosmic gods (some malevolent even!) haunt and hamper your every attempt to save your dearest homies from their purgatorial fate. But you’re not gonna let that stop you, because you love them!

Right?

• Set your feeble, retail-slacker will against a cosmic force that eludes comprehension.

• Travel between worlds based on the cognitions of your friends, all with individual play styles and genres.

• Rage against your and your friends’ fading memories to connect their worlds to the mysterious videohole depths, and unlock more secrets within.

• More like episode 2-5: Over 4x the length of episode 1.

  Episode II Out Oct 23!

  Hello everyone, Well, here we are at last. After four years of varying degrees of success and morale, Videohole: Episode II is finally finished, and we will be releasing it on October 23rd, 2025. We’re using this last month to squash minor bugs, sub-edit, and promote before release.Just to reiterate: The game is genuinely finished, we know we had that false release date that one time, but we are for real this time!One thing just for the steam page:We’ve seen a few of the same usernames for the past few years engaging on this page, some of you have even been here since the release of the first game. We just want to take this moment to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for staying interested this long in this project. We’ve mentioned it before, but we are a three person team that made this game with no funding entirely in our free time outside of work, and all the comments from people who loved the first game really kept us going. Videohole: Episode II drops in a month. It is significantly longer than the first game, clocking around ten hours or so, but we think we’ve retained the humor and depth that people enjoyed from Episode I, and we sincerely hope you enjoy it. Thanks, -Jofisoft.

  Our bad..

  Hello, We are Jofisoft, the developers of Videohole. While we had originally planned on releasing this game on the 20th of November, we have had to make the difficult decision to push this date back. We are a three person team and we all do all this outside of full time jobs that are subject to changes in schedule and free time, so it is sometimes hard to accurately determine how long a specific task will take. Furthermore, the November release would have been sandwiched between two seasonal sales, which would have drastically reduced our initial visibility on Steam. We have been working on this game for almost three years, and want it to be as polished and complete as possible. For those of you that have been following us all this time, we’re grateful for your continued engagement and support. We plan on releasing the game in early 2025, almost exactly four years from the release of Videohole: Episode I. Thank you for your understanding. -Henry, Hollis, and Daniella.
