Alpha Demo V1.0.6 Update
Hello, this is the Theremin Interactive development team.We sincerely thank everyone who always plays Legion of Judgment: Fallen Angel and leaves various opinions through the community. Thanks to your detailed feedback, the game has been able to improve even further. In this update, we focused on refining the combat controls and improving visual details and quality of life. Please check the detailed patch notes below.Combat System and Action ImprovementsImproved Parry Response Time: Adjusted the activation speed so that the guard check occurs immediately upon inputting the parry action.\ In the previous version, we received a lot of feedback that the controls felt frustrating because parries did not activate instantly. We have modified it to respond immediately so you can fully experience the unique action.Improved Enemy Attack Motion Visibility: Modified enemy attack motions so their trajectories are much more clearly visible than before.\ We actively accepted feedback that it was difficult to see enemy attacks and grasp the parry timing. Now you will be able to read enemy movements more intuitively and counterattack.Precise Adjustment of Enemy Attack Frames: Precisely fixed the issue where the enemy's attack animation and the actual moment the player gets hit were slightly misaligned.Added Instant Kill (Execution) Motions: Added new dedicated animation motions that play when instantly killing an enemy, enhancing the thrill of the action.Visual Effects and Graphic ImprovementsAdded Enemy Appearance Diversity (Hairstyles): Added various hairstyles to the appearing enemies.\ We had some amusing feedback that visual diversity seemed lacking because all the appearing enemies were bald. Reflecting this, we applied hairstyles to make the enemies' appearances more diverse.Changed Blood Color: Changed the color of blood to a more realistic and natural tone.\ Reflecting feedback that the previous blood color was somewhat unrealistic, we modified it to a realistic tone that s...Read full article on Community Announcements (Dexter)AnnouncementsOfficial
[Story] A Sanctuary on a Mountain of Debt, a Luxurious Prison: The Legion's Sanctuary, 'Hotel'
Hello, this is the development team working hard on \.Last time, we looked into the inner mind of our protagonist, Brandon, who broke through 20 years of hellish experiments. So, where did he head through the thick fog of Bayford City, covered in blood?Just as killers in 90s noir films needed a shabby motel room or a bar, Brandon also needed a place to rest his body. The place we are introducing today is the former headquarters of the 'Legion' that hunted monsters during two World Wars, and now a worn-out sanctuary crushed by massive debt, the 'Hotel'.1. A Ruin in the Heart of the City, the Sanctuary of the Fallen LegionIn the middle of the glamorous downtown of Bayford City. Between the skyscrapers piercing the sky, a massive building stands out incongruously beyond firmly closed old iron gates. In the past, this hotel was a sanctuary where Legion members from all over the world gathered to plan operations and wash away the fatigue of battle. However, after his father was murdered by the werewolf syndicate 20 years ago and the Legion collapsed, this place lost its master and fell into deep silence.Currently, the only one guarding this massive ruin is Renfield, the younger brother taken in by Brandon's father. The cost of maintaining a massive sanctuary located in the heart of the city was harsh. Waiting only for the day Brandon would return, he silently protected the hotel with the money he earned working as a fund manager, but struggling to cover the city's killer maintenance costs, he is now precariously holding on with a massive operating debt amounting to 400 million won. Brandon's revenge quietly begins right from this cold swamp of debt.2. The Chilling Collusion of Blood and CapitalWe hoped that players would naturally experience the desperate reality of protagonist Brandon through gameplay: that 'revenge also requires massive funds'. After a long deliberation, the system we carefully introduced is the 'Hotel Management' element combined with action.Brandon ga...Read full article on Community Announcements (Dexter)AnnouncementsOfficial
[Story] An Arsenal Built with a Shattered Mind: 'Brandon' and the Memory Palace
Last time, you took a glimpse into the darkness of 'Bayford City', a cold city ruled by beasts. Today, we want to tell the story of our protagonist, Brandon, the only one who will dive into the heart of that hell with a blade in his hand.He is not your typical 90s action movie hero. He is a survivor who has returned with his soul already shattered to pieces, a walking powder keg.1. 20 Years of Hell on Earth: A Destroyed Boy and the 'Personality Generator'20 years ago, Brandon, a rebellious 15-year-old heir to the Legion, had his fate completely twisted in a rainy back alley. He was kidnapped by a cruel 'Doctor' manipulated behind the scenes by the werewolf syndicate. The Doctor's outward goal was to create an army using werewolf blood, but behind the scenes, he chose Brandon as a test subject for the 'Personality Generator', artificially inducing multiple personalities by applying extreme electric shocks and pain to the human brain. An ordinary human would not have lasted long before their brain burned out, but Brandon, born with the special bloodline of the Legion's leader, endured this horrific torture for 20 long years. However, surviving does not mean he is whole. His mind was splintered into thousands of fragments, and his ego was thoroughly collapsed.2. Fortress of the Unconscious: The 'Memory Palace' and the Master of the ChairIn the midst of maddening pain, Brandon's unconsciousness created a dreamy and grotesque inner space, the 'Memory Palace', to protect itself. A cave pooled with cold water, in the center of which sits an old 'Chair' symbolizing control over the body. This place is not a sanctuary, but another battlefield. Brandon's scattered primal emotions and countless 'third personalities' forced into existence by the Doctor's torture engage in endless power struggles to claim that chair. The masked inner fragments that suppress and mock Brandon are enemies as terrifying as the werewolves trying to tear him apart on the outside.3. Prison Break After 20 ...Read full article on Community Announcements (Dexter)AnnouncementsOfficial
[Story] Rain, Neon, and the City of Beasts
Hello, prospective hunters waiting for the wolf hunt! This is our first time talking about the hunting grounds where Brandon will roll around shedding blood.A place where endless acid rain and brilliant neon signs coexist, this is 'Bayford City'.1. The Boundary of Light and Shadow, the Back Alleys of Bayford CityThe night in Bayford City is never quiet. In the alleys behind the red neon signs of jazz bars, the city's lower class slinks into the damp streets. We wanted to implement the characteristic 'ruthless city' of 90s noir films into the game. The lethargy lurking behind the glamorous commercial district, the blind spots untouched by light, form the stage where Brandon sharpens his blade and begins the hunt.2. A Fortress Called a Skyscraper, Rukor HeadquartersA building soaring like a giant tombstone oppressing this city. It is the headquarters of the global corporation 'Rukor'.While werewolves in traditional dark fantasy hid in cabins or caves in the woods, the wolves of Bayford City are different. They wear capital, hold power, and look down on humans from the highest vantage points. The heavily armed troops and armored vehicles tightly guarding the main gate show that they are not just a group of monsters, but a massive warlord faction that has seized the city's very system. For Brandon to break through here, he will need meticulous planning beyond mere brute force.3. The Secret Room of Elegant PredatorsAt the very top, beyond the glass windows battered by rain, suited figures leisurely enjoy wine while plotting their conspiracies inside. These are the werewolf syndicate, the five brothers. Watching them plan massacres while appreciating art on premium leather sofas will show you what a terrifying villain is born when savagery and intellect combine. Cutting off the breath of these elegant beasts is the greatest overarching goal of the game.4. The Hunter's Vow, the Bloody Target BoardA shabby, dark room with picture frames filling the wall. Only one target has h...Read full article on Community Announcements (Dexter)Patch NotesOfficial

Bug Fixes and Progression Improvements (Reported by Andrew6485)Progression-blocking bug fixed: Fixed a softlock issue that occurred when traveling on foot instead of using the train (fast travel).Enemy spawn animation bug fixed: Fixed an issue where the spawn animation would play again in an area even after the assassin had already been neutralized.Pedestrian bug fixed: Fixed an issue where fleeing pedestrians would get stuck in walls and run in place.2. Graphics and Animation ImprovementsRefined enemy animations: Smoothed out some awkward movements in the assassin's attack animations to make them look more natural.Optimized weapon effects: Optimized the visual effects of newly added weapons to create a more pleasant combat environment.3. Level Design and Guide Improvements (Reported by Tony Sakamoto)Revamped jump tutorial area in the hotel: Changed the level design of the jump movement area inside the hotel. This section will now act as a guide space where players can naturally learn the jump system: 'holding the jump key allows you to jump higher'.We will continue to listen to the feedback of everyone enjoying 'Legion of Judgment: Fallen Angel' and keep striving for improvement. We sincerely thank everyone who is helping us complete this game together. How to activate: While holding down the 'Guard' key, press the 'Attack' key just before getting hit by an enemy's bullet to deflect it back at them.Continuous Deflection (Auto Guard): If you succeed in deflecting the first bullet, subsequent bullets flying during the deflection animation will be automatically deflected without any additional input.💡 Combat Tip: This is an especially fatal counter against enemies equipped with automatic weapons (like rifles) that pour...Read full article on Community Announcements (Dexter)
