MoonLightDevCorp · Published by MoonLightDevCorp
Content notice: Glowing Stones is an Adult Visual Novel where the main focus is on the story and in that story, you will find yourself immersed in a world of corporate corruption and greed, superpowers and superheroes with romance that you can experience with 6 characters. Sexual content is not the sole objective of this game and is not the primary objective in the main plot, although it is present in every chapter. All is consensual between the characters. The primary focus of this game is the path to romance the five main characters (and the story is realistic about it), but it's totally possible and effective to get a monogamous relationship as well.

You'll be able to meet, and romance, six beautiful and amazing women. Each with their own personality, style, and story. Will you romance all of them or will you choose to just stay with one?
You’ll be able to rely on those like Greg, your best friend and/or rely on his beautiful wife, Sheila, as well as rely on a lot of other characters that can help you along during your incredible journey! Allowing you to experience lot of their stories… some sad, some kind and some... quite erotic.
The true value of a hero is measured by the strength of his enemy! And in this game you’ll meet and find many of them!
And, for sure, it will not always be easy for you to win those fights!
The world within this story is somewhere between our own and a contemporary cyberpunk one.
A world where the mega corporations that exist are more powerful than the governments of the world and tend to dictate policies and laws.
MoonCity, the town in which this story takes place, is a mix between a luminous and wonderous city and a dark and rough megalopolis.
In the game, you'll have access to a texting system which will allow the girls to send you some pictures and messages, if you manage to please them enough. There is also galleries for the characters and their biographies with bonus pictures you'll be able to unlock during your adventure, as well as a replay gallery that will allow you to replay all of the erotic and story point scenes of the game.

Progress report #22
Hello everyone,Three years already... Yes, today marks three years since this little adventure called Glowing Stones changed my life.Am I being a little dramatic? Maybe, but that is genuinely how I feel.Of course, the game itself is more than three years old. It is actually approaching its fourth anniversary, in one month, it will have been four years since I opened Daz for the very first time. But releasing the game on Steam transformed the project. It went from a time-consuming little passion project to something that allows me to make a living doing what I love. And that is also thanks to all of you, so THANK YOU!An anniversary is always a good opportunity to look back at how far you have come and take stock of where things currently stand. When I look back, I realize just how much has already been accomplished. The English version now contains more than 120,000 words. That is almost twice the length of Harry Potter (and in a visual novel, the written text is mostly dialogue, while a book also contains visual descriptions that are represented through images in a VN).According to Steam, players have spent an average of six and a half hours playing the game. That is pretty good, especially considering that many players have not launched it again since its original release, which is something I can see from the achievement statistics.Did I expect any of this when I first started coding the game, or even when I released Chapter 3 on Steam? Absolutely not!Chapter 3, for example, was around 10,000 words long. That was already substantial and represented roughly an hour of gameplay. But now, Chapter 7 is almost 30,000 words long! That is also something I still need to learn how to manage: finding the right balance between my desire to develop certain aspects of the characters and the need to keep the main story moving forward. And when I look at the quality of both the writing and the visuals, I also feel like the game has almost nothing in common with those early chapters ...Read full article on Community Announcements (MoonLightDevCorp)AnnouncementsOfficial
Progress report #21
Hi everyone, A slightly different progress report this time. First I'll talk a little about myself, then about the game, and finally I'll share several marketing announcements. On my end, things are getting better. I'm getting back into the work routine I had before all of my health issues. I do have some administrative work to deal with soon (a lot of tax-related stuff, what a joy…) but aside from that, nothing is planned other than work. As for the game, progress is going well. With my routine back in place, I've been able to move forward quite a bit, as you'll see from the numbers. I now have all of the lewd animations for this chapter blocked out. Some of them still need to be rendered, but the animation work itself is done, which is a major milestone. This chapter will have three lewd scenes. For comparison, Chapter 6 also had three, while the other chapters only had two or even one. Story-wise, I decided to add 200 lines of dialogue to the scene with Cassie, both to give her a bit more character development and to try something a little different. You'll have to tell me what you think when the release comes out. I've also planned to add a scene of around 300 lines. I haven't written it yet, but I really like the idea behind it. It will explore a bit more of our hero's past. I still need to figure out exactly how I want to write it, but I already have the context in mind. I still have around six long scenes left to pose, involving several characters, as well as the final action scene. But as you can see, things are moving forward nicely. Here are the numbers: 1,260 renders 4,400 lines of script completed 38 animations, with some still left to render And finally, the marketing section, with three big announcements! First of all, Ataegina Act I is out now! I'm really happy about it. The developer is a very good friend of mine, probably the best friend I have in the game development world, and he truly deserves the best. It was the first adult game I ever played. ...Read full article on Community Announcements (MoonLightDevCorp)AnnouncementsOfficial
Progress report #20
Hi everyone,I'm taking advantage of a moment when both of my PCs are busy: one rendering, the other simulating hair, to write this update. So, what news on my end?Health-wise, I'm doing better. I can walk without any issues, go up stairs, and all that. I'm not running yet, but honestly, that's not really recommended for me anyway, so... For now, my gout is stable too, and I assume the medication is doing its job. The only real nuisance is the migraines. I've been stressing a bit too much lately, both because of real-life problems and because I'm really far behind on the game's development. On the personal side, like I just mentioned, I've been dealing with several issues related to local life (it's election season in France, among other things) and family matters (my little one got lice, and guess who has very long, very thick hair...). But well, that's life, I guess! As for the game, progress is being made. I feel like I'm working at a pretty decent pace, but this chapter is just so much more demanding in terms of both technical work and content... As you'll see from the numbers, the animations have progressed a lot. I've fully completed the first naughty scene, the second one is almost finished as well, and the first animation for the third one is already blocked out. As for the current action scene, the first of the chapter's two action scenes, the animations are done, and so are the still renders. And we're talking about 8 animations here, with the shortest being two seconds long and the longest running over 15 seconds! I can safely bet that 99% of the AVNs you've played don't have animations like these. These animations, both the spicy ones and the action ones, are keeping my render PC busy 24/7 and my posing PC occupied every night, to the point that I still haven't been able to render the posed stills for the scene. And speaking of renders, this scene is massive (I'm already over 200), and in terms of code, it's also huge, with more than 400 lines. The full chapte...Read full article on Community Announcements (MoonLightDevCorp)AnnouncementsOfficial
Progress report #19
Hello there,First off, I’m not looking for excuses. I’m so late on the next chapter that even I’m mad at myself! But I still wanted to give you a quick update on what’s been going on lately. And, who knows, if this can also serve as a bit of a cautionary message, even better.I just got back from the hospital. Yep: I spent five days there, stuck in a room with an IV in my arm 24/7, and I could barely walk. What happened? I’ve got a new chronic illness to add to my "collection": chondrocalcinosis. Basically, something in my body is malfunctioning and creating calcium deposits in my joints (and yes, if that rings a bell, gout does something similar, but with uric acid crystals). When those deposits break apart, they release calcium crystals into the joint, and the joint responds with a violent inflammatory reaction as it tries to dissolve and flush them out (and in the process it can also attack the cartilage, then even the bone…).That’s exactly what happened to me: my knee swelled up so much it was as wide as my thigh, turned burning hot, gave me a 39.5°C fever, and finally sent me to the ER. They drained fluid from my knee (90 ml, almost half a small can of soda), but they were also worried it might be an infection because of the fever and how "bad" the fluid looked. So they put me on IV antibiotics (which is why I was stuck there for five days). They also performed knee surgery (under general anesthesia), inserting a camera to clean out anything that had no business being in there. They took a biopsy as well. After five days, the first test results came back, and since nothing showed any virus, bacteria, or germs, they concluded there was no infection and finally sent me home.So the good news is: I’m back home now, and I can start working again (though I’ve been told to take it easy and to nap when I need to).The less good news is that these flare-ups can happen at any time. I need to keep an eye on things, especially if I get injured or sick (inflammation can trigger...Read full article on Community Announcements (MoonLightDevCorp)AnnouncementsOfficial
Progress report #18
Hey everyone,Sorry, no sexy Christmas render this year. It’s not because you haven’t been good (though I’m in no position to judge that!), it’s simply because I’m spending all my available time directly working on the game.Actually, it’s even more than that. Even if I had the time to set up a special scene, I wouldn’t have the time to render it. I’ve started working on the “lewd” animations and, as of now, there are already more than 5,000 frames set up… At around 2 minutes per frame, I’ll let you do the math on how many hours of pure render time that represents… (Okay fine, I’ll tell you: that’s about 166 hours of straight rendering.) And of course, there are also still images that need to be rendered, which take anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour each depending on the setup. On top of that, I’m also trying to spare the second PC as much as possible, since it’s more of a backup machine in case the main one dies. So yeah… there’s a lot of work going on. But that’s a good thing! On a more personal note, I haven’t really talked about it much, but the last couple of weeks have been pretty rough for me. I’ve had some health issues, including a gout flare-up. I need to go back to the doctor so we can work through that again. On top of that, my wife had a whole series of heart-related exams and, while there’s nothing immediately serious, she now has to be monitored and take medication every day. Heart problems are a real weak spot in her family (it’s what killed her father, among other things), so it’s still worrying and, as you can imagine, stressful for me as well. (Yes, Celeste’s story in the game is not entirely made up either, as you may have guessed.) So there you go: nothing catastrophic, but a lot of “small” things that dragged down morale, motivation, and often managed to break my focus. On the positive side, I’ve found a very good approach for one of the central plots of books 2 and 3. Up until now, I had the general idea and I knew where it was going, but I hadn’...Read full article on Community Announcements (MoonLightDevCorp)
