Manage your medieval shop, craft items, and farm to build your reputation before debt collectors arrive. In Cozy Keep, every decision counts as you navigate this indie simulation.

About this game

Welcome to Cozy Keep, where you can be a shopkeeper in a fantastical realm. Engage in commerce with merchants, strive to buy low and sell high, handle thieves, interact with customers, pay taxes(or don't) and ensure you always have the best products in stock. Remember, at the end of the day, it's all about profits!

Clean up the place, build furniture and structures using raw materials and decorate as you wish to increase the appeal of your shop.

Unveil the mysteries of this world! Chop down trees, collect berries or, if you’re a brave explorer, delve into the depths of the mine where no human has set foot in hundreds of years to grab the cursed gold.

Utilize raw materials to craft tools, weapons, gear, and anything else you can imagine. Put these crafted items to use for your own purposes or sell them for a profit!

Purchase seeds from merchants, plant them in high-quality soil, add water, and patiently wait to harvest the results of your labor. You can sell your crops, use them in cooking, or even create special potions.

Hunt wildlife and gather their meat to prepare food and open a new specialization. Your survival depends on filling up basic needs and protecting the store from bandits, ghostly soldiers, and cursed skeletons.

    Quick Fix v0.1.9b

Fixed a bug that prevented customers from buying products placed using the Fast Restock option on displays. Please note that products already placed using Fast Restock may still be affected by this issue. To fix it, simply remove the products and use Fast Restock on the display again. Everything should then work as intended. I'm really sorry about this issue and for not noticing your reports sooner!

    QoL - Update 0.1.9

Hey there, Cozy Keepers! We are still working on the Employees Update and other systems, but before releasing those updates, we wanted to put out a small QoL update featuring a couple of things that have been requested and mentioned a lot by you!📦Build From Storage ChestsYou can now use materials from Storage Chests when building, without having to carry them in your inventory.Note: Rebuilding certain structures (e.g., the Honesty Box) still requires you to have the materials in your inventory.⚡Fast Restock for Product DisplaysProduct Displays with the Fast Placement bonus will now remember the last products placed on them. Simply look at the Product Display and press the Fast Restock key to automatically grab and restock those products if they are available in your inventory or nearby Storage Chests.🌱Fast Crop ReplantingThis uses the same system as Product Displays, but for Planters. It replaces the Remove Seeds option, which Planters had but was rarely used.🛠️ChangelogFixed customers not buying certain items even when stock was sufficient.Made several changes to the Order System:Items now have a maximum stock limit.Prices are now influenced by your reputation.Improved discounts.Fixed Tier V products not receiving discounts.Replaced the text in the Player and Management tabs with icons to improve readability and create more space.Fixed some mine ore deposits having incorrect rotations.Fixed a bug that caused Locked Chests to display both unlocking mini-games.Fixed an issue where Planters could be watered while unbuilt, which could cause visual bugs.Fixed an issue where newly added ores in the Miner's Shop were not being added to the cart, making them impossible to purchase.📜Final NoteWe have big plans and updates for the next months, thank you for supporting this journey and having patience with the development. ❤️

    Shop Expansion - Update 0.1.8

Hey there, Cozy Keepers!Initially, I wanted to work on and add employees, but after getting some feedback from the community, players mentioned that the current space is too small and employees aren’t really needed. So before adding employees and shop automation, I’m releasing this update, which allows you to upgrade your shop and get an additional floor for your product displays!🏡Upgrading Your ShopThe system is pretty straightforward. You need to interact with your Management Table, open the Shop Upgrades tab, and level up your shop if you have the required materials. This will make some slight modifications to the shop and its appearance, both outdoors and indoors.Because of the current layout, I couldn’t really find a way to add physical stairs to the new floor, so I cheated a little by adding doors that act as portals between floors. (I also want to mention that the current shop layout isn’t final - I'll be changing it in the near future, and more levels and upgrades will be added.)This update will give you more walls and floors, as well as more display and decoration locations.❗Small Issue To Be Aware OfOne small issue you might face, if you already have a save file, is related to chandeliers. Your current chandeliers from the first floor will be higher than they should be. You can use a table and a 5-slot cupboard to reach them, or simply upgrade the shop and go to the second floor to interact with and move them. I’m really sorry about this, but I don’t want to apply a hard-coded fix that might break other things.🛠️ChangelogIncreased the range of the Paint Brush to make it easier to interact with the new wallsReplaced the floors in the Bedroom, Storage Room, and behind the Management Table with editable floorsFixed some cooking recipes not returning the empty bucketFixed the recipe for Cream Rolls requiring Raw MeatFixed enemies in the first mine area dropping Gold Ingots before you could smelt and unlock them yourself, which allowed early elevator repairs to ...
