The intuitive build system offers creative freedom while adhering to physics, with a learning curve made easy by detailed in-game tutorials (also in the demo) and extensive Steam guides. Customize gameplay with robust menu settings and enjoy Workshop support for endless community creations. Steam Deck is supported, though best as a PC companion. Dive into the interactive tutorial or join our vibrant Discord and Steam Discussions for developer support and feedback. Master the basics of physics and aerodynamics for hours of fun!
Nautikins
The Nautikins, evolved from dolphin-like ancestors, now rule a vast ocean world, exploring vibrant islands. Recruit crews of Nautikins to pilot your boats, planes, helicopters, submarines, and beyond!
Building
Craft sea, air, or hybrid vessels in an open-world drydock or runway using a versatile building interface. Construct boats, planes, jets, helicopters, submarines, airships, and more with over 200 unique parts and minimal restrictions. Deploy build areas anywhere on the map to create bases, unleashing near-limitless creativity!
Weapons
Arm your vessels with a lethal array of weapons, including guns, cannons, missile launchers, torpedoes, harpoon launchers, bombs, and advanced countermeasures to block enemy attacks! Unleash dynamic explosions that devastate Nautikins and boats alike, with realistic damage effects. Customize your arsenal for intense battles!
Physics and damage
Experience dynamic custom physics for buoyancy, airfoils, and more! Your boats and planes interact realistically with water, floating or landing on its surface. Master center of mass to optimize designs or enjoy spectacular crashes, like jets exploding into the sea! A deformation and damage system affects all vessels, requiring repairs to prevent sinking or fires.
Activities
Set sail in your seaworthy vessel for exciting activities like deliveries, rescues, and treasure hunts! Engage in thrilling combat against AI enemies, offering diverse challenges to test your creations.
Exploration
Explore a vast open-world ocean map brimming with islands! Venture too far (~100km) and sea monsters might make you their meal. Dive into immersive underwater environments teeming with seaweed, fish, sharks, and more!
Game modes
Choose between two game modes: Sandbox and Campaign. Sandbox, the default mode, grants access to all resources for building, perfect for learning or quick fun. Campaign offers a tougher challenge for seasoned players, requiring you to unlock parts and earn shells to achieve goals. Achievements are exclusive to Campaign mode.
Multiplayer
Multiplayer mirrors all single-player features, supporting up to 16 players. Build and deploy boats for friends to see, crew, or captain. Some functions may require server owner authorization, ensuring controlled gameplay.
AI
Engage in thrilling pirate battles, where enemies wield frigates, tankers, jets, and more, posing a serious threat! Outfit your vessels with deck cannons, missile launchers, and advanced countermeasures to block enemy attacks. Customize bot crew members to operate weapons or pilot your boat for you.
Weather
Navigate dynamic weather systems like rain, storms, fog, and wind that roam the map, impacting your vessel's safety. Monitor conditions to stay safe on your journey. Far from island protection, expect intensified weather effects and rougher ocean waves. Brace for extreme events like massive tidal waves and whirlpools!
Chat
Connect with players in multiplayer using a simple, low-profile text-based chat for quick messages. It's designed to facilitate communication and help players link up on Discord or Steam chat for deeper coordination.
Tutorials
Learn the ropes with interactive tutorials covering core gameplay, including the user interface, controlling Nautikins, and building boats and planes. While these tutorials teach the basics, check out the detailed Guides for a wealth of game info. Always review the in-game controls for a smooth experience!
Mods
Enhance your game with a variety of supported mods, from new parts with unique shapes to complex engines! Easily upload mods in-game or subscribe via Steam Workshop for seamless integration into build mode and other features. Modders can explore the mod guide for detailed info on creating mods.
Steam Deck Support
Play seamlessly on Steam Deck with full support for local play and PC streaming! Building vessels may feel more challenging without a keyboard and mouse, so PC is recommended for the smoothest experience. For tips and details, check out the Steam Deck guide!

Steam Controller Support
I have just verified that the Steam Controller works well with the game out of the box without any changes. In general the game should have partial support for Steam Input devices in the same manner that it does for Xbox and PlayStation controllers. Most of the actions can be rebinded as desired. The only issue I noticed was that the parking brake on aircrafts is very sensitive on the Steam Controller. Usually you can hold down the left bumper and press the B button to toggle the parking brake, on the Steam Controller this seems to only work if you hold down B and then quickly tap the left bumper instead of holding it from the start. You may be able to tweak this behavior if desired, but by default it will be a little fragile since it was never designed for this device. Note: Apparently the parking break works fine for some. Other than that you can use the Steam Controllers the same way the game is supported on the Steam Deck! I think that is pretty cool. Enjoy! -RevmatekRead full article on Community Announcements (Revmatek)AnnouncementsOfficial

Version 1.0.267 Update
Summary This is a minor bug fixing build. The next build will include some new features and content. Changes Fixed a rounding error that caused large 99.99% full fuel tanks to display as 100% Fixed a UI bug where the monster hunt bar could be hidden while objectives are still displayed Fixed a bug with mods that prevented changing material groups Fixed a background error when hovering over flags in build mode Fixed a UI bug with rebinding inputs that prevented rebinding more than 1 control per menu open Fixed some visuals on the anchor parts Fixed a load timing issue with Anchors Fixed some potential drift with changing sea level and Anchors Fixed a UI bug where inputs could animate sometimes when already filled in Fixed a Steam Deck on screen keyboard activation issue with repeat use in toggle groups Fixed a bug where vessels destroyed while on magnets looked weird Blind fix for an issue where autosave could trigger during loading for abnormally large saves Changed the default camera on cranes to be the one that is most used Changed some inventory sounds Moved camera performance settings to the top of the performance tab The raft hull now counts as a sea plane part Additional error handling for manually modified vessel files Notes Fuel tanks that are not completely full will now display 99% until they reach 100% and the fueling sound stops. This is similar to a how the fuel UI displays 1% until the fuel tank is completely empty. This matters mostly for large fuel tanks where 1% may be a significant amount of fuel beyond a single digit. While the rounding was technically accurate, it can be confusing for UI purposes since the decimal places are not displayed. Monster Hunt UI fix also applies to Seek and Destroy. I was investigating some potential save issues while on the Steam Deck. Apparently the Steam Deck may interrupt an in progress I/O operation at any time and will not resume writing properly causing the data at the interrupt to be invalid. It may do so for va...Read full article on Community Announcements (Revmatek)Patch NotesOfficial
