Hello! Well, it's finally here: the sequel to REDO! So, what's SESSIONS ABOUT? How does it connect to the first game? SESSIONS expands the world and lore of REDO!. It uses the previously established world and lore as a base for a more expansive story. I don't want to delve into details about the story, but I'll talk a bit about it. The game takes place hundreds of years after the events of REDO! After such a long time, the world has changed dramatically. There are no signs of human life, only the remaining man-made machines, synthetic humanoids, and eldritch abominations can be found. You play as a synthetic human with a personal mission. And she will journey to the ends of the earth to fulfill it. This brings me to another point: the journey. You won't be restricted to one city, like in REDO! You'll travel from place to place, exploring the ruins of human civilization. Action. Horror. Exploration. Action: Your movement and combat are similar to REDO!, but more fluid and a little more rapid. The game is still slow-paced, but you can expect more fluid combat, platforming, and overall movement. Horror: SESSIONS will amplify the horror aspect of REDO! Don't expect jump scares or things like that. I'm talking about a sense of dread, hopelessness, creepy environments and enemy design. Exploration: Yes, you'll have a map this time. More details about it later. Exploration will also be amplified, with more secrets, shortcuts, elevators (YAY!), puzzles, and overall better level design than REDO! Essentially, SESSIONS will be similar to REDO!, but much more ambitious. Bigger, faster, more creepy etc. There's a lot more to say, but let's stop here today.
