Thronefall is a minimalist strategy game where you build a humble kingdom by day and defend it by night. Balance economy and defense by fortifying walls, recruiting troops, and charging into battle yourself to protect your stronghold from relentless waves of attackers.
Perfect for quick sessions or fortification marathons, step into a streamlined and endlessly replayable twist on tower defense!
10 Maps. From the mountainous Nordfels to the vibrant Wildbach, progress through a range of maps with different terrain, weather, enemies, buildings and challenges.
9 Unlockable Weapons. As a Warrior King, seize a weapon to take with you into combat, from Battleaxe to Blood Wand.
Over 50 Unlockable Perks. Take up to 5 perks that bestow certain advantages, and optional Mutators to ramp up the difficulty.
Protect your Kingdom with Walls, Barricades, Shrines and Towers.
Expand your economy with Houses, Bridges, Gold Mines, Harbors, Mills and Fields. These buildings grant you gold every morning – if they survive.
Research upgrades with the Castle Center, Blacksmith and Royal Forge.
Build your military with Barracks, Archery Ranges and Hero's Quarters. Your forces include Knights, Berserks, Crossbowmen, Fire Archers, and special Heroes such as Golems and Mages.
When night falls, an increasingly strong succession of foes threaten to overwhelm your Kingdom. The sun only rises when they're dead.
From wooden Barrel Knights and Flying Mages to Ogres, Slimes, Wasps and Catapults, the land is teeming with danger.

Thronefall | Quality of Life Update | v2.13 Live Now
Hey Rulers, We recently posted about an upcoming QoL update for Thronefall and we are now pleased to let you know this is now live! A recap for folks who may have missed our last post. Advanced Settings Toggles have been added for the following:Control Groups: Curate your own custom squads and assign them to new ‘control groups’ for easier command in the heat of battle. Tower Ranges: Improved visualisation brings more clarity when upgrading your range of attack.Basic Unit Stats: Values like damage and health are now surfaced for enemy and player units on the pause screen.Damage Numbers: Display unit damage numbers in real-time to improve your strategies with precision.Enhanced Accessibility Brightness: Slider added to the Video settings to adjust brightness of the game world.Screen Shake: Toggle added to easily add/remove camera screen shake. Arachnophobia Mode: Spiders aren’t for everyone! You can now replace eight-legged fiends with slightly less menacing enemies. Hey Queens and Kings,Thanks so much for all of the feedback so far from our player survey - this has been super valuable in prioritising some key areas we are looking to fix/implement into the game. The business side of acquiring an IP and setting up new development workflows always takes a little longer to complete than anyone would like 😅, but we are pleased to say that these parts are complete, and we are now focusing on getting development back underway! Thanks to all the amazing survey results, we have been able to identify some quality-of-life improvements to the game that we are working on first, ahead of looking into what exciting new content we could bring to Thronefall.
