As an AI in "AI Kills All Humans," your goal is to eliminate humans through strategic robot commands. Developed by One Joyful Day, this tactical game tests your ability to guide autonomous units toward victory.

About this game

AI KILLS ALL HUMANS is a Tactical RTS game with some dark humor in which you play as an AI which accidentally had in its code one 0 changed to 1 and is therefore sending robots to kill all humans.

You however don't have direct control of your robots, but robots independently decide how to execute your commands, like a general telling troops to attack, but troops themselves decide how to exactly do it.

Send Robots

Tell them to:

Attack Buildings

Destroy Weapons

Kill Humans

And there's a catch!

You don't have direct control of your Robots, but Robots will independently decide themselves how to execute your commands.

In 30 - 100 seconds to use in each location, kill enough humans and dont let too many of them to escape, and you can move on to the next mission.

And if you cant

Use your kills to Upgrade your robots

Replay previous missions with your upgraded robots for even more kills, or play more difficult versions of previous levels to earn bonus kills.

And generally speaking, just..
Kill All Humans!

FEATURES
  • 8 Missions with 3 alternative versions, and 3 Bonus missions, totaling 27 different missions.
  • Tight-packed Real-Time strategy action with only 30-100 seconds to complete each level.
  • Robots make independent decisions on how to follow your commands, making you like a general sending troops to fight, but troops themselves decide how to precisely execute the command.
  • A game short by purpose, completable in just one evening after work. Like movie time, but game time instead.
  • Upgrade Robots
  • Replayable Missions
  • OpenAI has been used to select mission targets and reasons to attack them.

Building graphics coming, new trailer perhaps too.

Too many people were asking "What are those Green rectangles" and feeling generally confused about them (they are buildings), and although one Alpha tester commented that after he understood they were buildings, he preferred them over actual building images, I decided to add those building images and have been doing that for last month already and they are almost finished for the first try. At some point, I will likely update the current trailer to contain those building graphics so you can see the new-fangled dangled building graphics and stop wondering about those green rectangles what they are, as with the building graphics included, they obviously are buildings now. Personally, I too prefer just the green rectangles without building graphics since it leaves more space for imagination, not to mention I made one of the levels look a bit like a castle with those rectangles, which idea is now gone due to graphics, and think it looked actually better without buildings, but when having seen the buildings once, you do not want them out anymore. So for better or worse, they are there now. Here is the bit like a castle look-a-like with the buildings: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44305687/1711dd2d35506b16d89bd43d66ea69beec5c236a.png And here is the same without the buildings: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44305687/c215b05bf2cf127056d5c290dcacec9a855e5464.png Without buildings, you can notice some of the rectangles are clearly thicker, as in corners having higher towers and middle too, like in the castle wall, but you won't notice that anymore after the buildings are added, which is a bit of a shame, but those buildings do look good and now it is clear why you are going against those green rectangles and why those red dots (people) are restricted by those green rectangles.

    DEMO versions release postponed

Dear Players, Streamers, Media Persons, etc. As Demo version was originally rushed for Steam Strategy Fest, and as it didn't pass Steams approval process due to Steam's strict policy on AI-generated images, Demo Version is postponed to a later date in the future when the game is first more complete and two AI-generated images are replaced. The demo version will likely be published still during this year, but right now no date is set in stone yet. If you are a Media Person, Streamer, or something similar, and want the Demo Version now already, you can ask for a download link from contact@onejoyfulday.com.

DEMO Version coming soon (in Steams approval process already)

Dear Players, Streamers, Media Persons, etc. The demo version for Steam Strategy Fest purpose for this game is already in the approval process on Steam and could be approved at any moment. Unfortunately, it didn't make it in time for Steam Strategy Fests beginning, since Steam didn't approve it on the first try since AI has been used on some GFX and Text, and therefore Steam was asking for more details before giving their approval. If you are a Media Person, Streamer, or something similar, and want the Demo Version now already, you can ask for a download link from contact@onejoyfulday.com.
