February 2025 - Developer Log
What's up guys! This time, I've got a really short but important announcement for the month of February, so forgive me if this post is rather small on content! I'll lay out for you all whats currently going on with P:SB & other news. So buckle up, it's dev time! First of all, I'd like to say that my IRL situation has not been exactly smooth during the past development time. With no sponsor, nor supporter over the current time of development (besides the input from other sources I live off of), this game and service is completely under-funded. The game itself has not received any funds since its inception or launch (mostly my fault), besides the kickstarter, but that was never released to the company, nor myself. Despite that, I've been pushing the project forward till now with my own personal funds, and it seems it will continue to stay that way until we receive more support soon. In light of recent events, I've decided to get up and get a full-time job to support both myself and the project at the moment. This will subtract away from the time I have to develop, but it has not doused my passion for game-dev, nor has slowed down my thirst for knowledge as I pursue a career in this field. From this month on, you can expect at least anywhere between 1-3 major/minor patches or updates per month, with new content always on the horizon. I simply no longer have the time to make countless back to back updates with hotfixes in order to satiate my inner perfectionist. Don't be upset, as per drawing new folk to the project, our funds may increase once again, and I may be able to work on this full-time once again in the near future. With that out of the way, what I've been working on since new years, with the time I've had to develop, is a new character customizer. From the last devlog, I've created new meshes, clothing, animations, and combat-animations(for future releases). This will allow me to setup the new data profiles as well, for optimizing how player appearances are se...Read full article on Community Announcements (Infennetii)Patch NotesOfficial
Hot-Fix For Game Update V0.0.3H
Basically, just a hot-fix for the most recently updated patch. Changes In This Update: • Removed extra tutorial button that was still next to login button. • Loading screen was getting stuck while in solo-mode. Added a change to fix that. • BZ-00 (Tutorial NPC) did not have a collider (now it does) • BZ-00 (Tutorial NPC) had an incorrect name-tag (now it shows the correct name & title) • Quest Tracker was getting stuck in the tutorial -- This behavior was abnormal due to the way the tutorial mission was added to your mission queue when it was tracked. The tracking remnant is now removed upon completing the tutorial step. • Board Going Through Player -- This behavior was abnormal due to the way the "CLASSIC" board type was loaded. It worked for female characters, but the offset and size were incorrect for male characters. The offset has been corrected. • NPC Quest Markers - They should now update each time you have a conversation, complete a quest, or advance a quest. (Needs more definitive testing) • *EXPERIMENTAL* Camera Controls - RMB (Right Click Hold) may now move your camera up and down at a limited angle, it is very sensitive currently and will be revised in a future patch. This feature is experimental, and will be optional in the future. • *EXPERIMENTAL* Camera Controls - RMB (Right Click Press) will now automatically rotate your toon in the direction you are facing. This feature is experimental, and will be optional in the future. • Disclaimer Added - A new disclaimer agreement has been added to the login menu. In order to play from henceforth, you must accept the agreement before you can login. It simply states that you will try to report any bugs experienced with active communication before you leave a review. This will give me an opportunity to address your needs, and fix the problem for the entire community. I am a solo-developer, there is a lot I need to manage as I create more content and some things can slip by me. I would appreciate your reporting, a...Read full article on Community Announcements (Infennetii)AnnouncementsOfficial

December 2024 Content Update
Greetings Explorers, Researchers, Boarders, & Hunters! With the launch out of the way, and the holidays upcoming, there is still a lot that must be done for future updates. This is why I have considered some of the feedback that has already been submitted, and added onto the game. That major update inside of this current version is a change to how you are supposed to login. People who have played already have communicated to me that they were having issues with "multiplayer". The one thing I'd like to point out is, whenever you login: You are connected to the main server already, and you can join a snowboarding event from anywhere in the overworld. The way the matchmaking system used to work was: 1. You would start matchmaking via the shortcut bar {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45244362/fce191dd2c6973278d5af331e497f07232c26a34.png 2. Select your gamemode of choice {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45244362/a06d0c321cfe7ab16dc877aa67d95b8d9ea7bb07.png 3. Click play to start matchmaking {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45244362/c496beda1ed4010ff3c49127bf5a71e8d35943c1.png Now, that seems a bit confusing to some people because they would arrive to an empty lobby, and think that something is wrong. The game just released and there was nobody online at the time, so nobody would join their game and allow them to start because each game type had a minimum requirement of several people instead of just one. This was an obvious issue, leading players to think that the multiplayer had yet to be implemented or broken, and that's bad. So the solution I'm incorporating into this update is a new login system, and hub, to further simplify the UI and give better information to players. Now when you login is a new menu that allows you to CHOOSE what you'd like to do, and where you'd like to go: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45244362/4688e7b82c4a767d921757ccce250a942669df6f.png With the new menu you can select whether you would like to login directly to the overworld, hub, or your room! The Hub is a new location that can allow you to s...Read full article on Community Announcements (Infennetii)
