About this game
A story-rich, conversation-heavy investigative visual novel with point & click elements where you play as Moses & Plato, two clueless detectives embroiled in a wild case while traveling on the famous luxury train, the Clawville Express. When the client you are supposed to protect, an ambassador on a peace mission, is murdered, you become the main suspect!
Be the slyest fox detective and find a killer in a race against time. Time progresses as you sniff out clues, eavesdrop on conversations, and interrogate passengers. Can you solve the case before the train reaches the last station? If not, war can break out between the two biggest powers of the Wilderness!

We hope you enjoy the stories and mysteries from the Clawville Express. I’m Bánk B. Varga, while acting as the lead designer, I'm also the lead writer and creator of the World of Wilderness. In this developer log, we are recapping the stories with more depth, with the journey so far, and the animals you’ll meet along the way. While the main plot of a visual novel is important, it’s the characters you meet that weave the story together. As you travel through the Clawville Express, you’ll get to learn more about the world and meet a wide range of passengers with their own personalities, motivations, and secrets. Some may help you, others may raise suspicion. But all of them are part of the journey across the great Wilderness. The Legendary Journey Through the Wilderness What begins as a simple escort mission quickly becomes far more complicated. Moses and Plato are tasked with protecting a peace ambassador. One that could determine the fate of the Wilderness. But on the very first day aboard the train, the ambassador is murdered… and Moses becomes the prime suspect. From that moment on, the journey changes. It's become a race to uncover the truth, while tensions between nations quietly stirring behind the background. The story of Moses & Plato took place in The Clawville Express. It is one of the most renowned railway lines in the Wilderness, a route so iconic that it has become as legendary as the train itself. Its luxurious royal suites are reserved for royalty and distinguished figures, each cabin customized to suit its notable guests. Meanwhile, the second- and third-class carriages serve those who cannot afford such luxury, a contrast that becomes quite clear as you observe the differences between the room of our detectives and some of the other passengers aboard the train. Varga, the lead designer of Moses & Plato - Last Train to Clawville. Today, we’re going to take a look at another side that makes visual novel characters stand out, aside from the writing and dialogues, it’s the world they inhabit. A good visual novel isn’t just about the story, it’s also about the world you travel through. Moving through the interiors of the Clawville Express and the diverse stations across the Wilderness, there are always new locations to explore as you progress. We want you to be connected to the larger world that feels alive. A train inspired by the legendary classics When we first imagined the Clawville Express, we naturally looked to some of the most iconic trains and stories in fiction. The Orient Express inspired us with how it brings together a diverse group of passengers, each with their own secrets. The story of Murder on the Orient Express helped us shape the idea of a mystery unfolding in a confined, moving space. At the same time, we were also influenced by legendary detectives such as Hercule Poirot and Sherlock Holmes. Not to mention, the classic adventure game The Last Express. All of these inspirations came together to form a setting that feels both familiar and unique. Something that supports both the mystery and the characters who inhabit it. Designing the Clawville Express wasn’t just about the train itself, but also about the spaces within it. Each room was carefully planned to feel lived-in and purposeful.
