A New Beginning for Squirrel University Simulator

Hello everyone!A few years ago, I released the first public demo of Squirrel University Simulator.Back then, I was a university student trying to finish my degree while simultaneously making my first game. Looking back, the demo was rough—but it was the best I could do at the time. This year, I decided to revisit the project.Over the past months, I rebuilt and expanded large parts of the game. While the combat system and some major encounters are still under development, this new demo finally feels much closer to the experience I originally wanted to create. The game is still a work in progress, but I believe this version gives a much clearer picture of what the final game will look and feel like. With Steam Next Fest now underway, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to share the new version with everyone and gather feedback from players. What's New in the Updated Demo?• Completely redesigned and expanded demo content• New exploration areas across the university campus• Major visual and environmental improvements• Additional quests, events, and secrets to discover• New customization options and cosmetic unlocks• Improved movement and gameplay systems• Multiplayer support• New professor encounters and expanded combat content• Numerous bug fixes, balancing changes, and quality-of-life improvementsStill In DevelopmentSome planned content is not yet available in this demo, including several major boss fights and additional combat features currently in development. These systems are actively being worked on and will continue to evolve based on player feedback.Thank YouThank you to everyone who played the original demo years ago, wishlisted the game, shared feedback, or simply followed the project. If you enjoy the demo, please consider adding the game to your wishlist and sharing your thoughts. Every piece of feedback helps shape the future of Squirrel University Simulator.See you on campus.
