Embark on a dynamic city-building journey across Antiquity to the Industrial Revolution. Manage resources and navigate factions in this unique indie strategy game, shaping your dynasty towards constructing a final Wonder.

About this game

Memoriapolis is a historical city builder where your city grows across 5 ages from Antiquity to the Industrial Revolution.

Place the buildings. The city grows organically and districts expand. Manage resources, navigate faction demands, and guide your dynasty to its final goal : building one of three Industrial Revolution Wonders — the Eiffel Tower, Neuschwanstein Castle, or the Statue of Liberty.

Relaxed or challenging : difficulty settings adjust objectives, faction pressure, and resource balance to match how you want to play.

Banners & Wonders is the biggest update to Memoriapolis since launch.

Factions now have personalities: Altruist, Warrior, Expansionist, and more. They don't all want the same thing, and they won't all negotiate the same way.

Your dynasty's goal : reach the Industrial Revolution and build one of three final Wonders — the Eiffel Tower, Neuschwanstein Castle, or the Statue of Liberty.

The city is more open than before. No more cycle limits. No more closed districts. New maps, Steam achievements, difficulty levels have also been added and more!

At the heart of it all : the Dynastic House that grows with your city across every age.

Build your city across 5 ages

Memoriapolis spans five historical eras : Antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Age of Enlightenment, and the Industrial Revolution. Each age transforms your city with new architecture, new challenges, new Monuments to unlock.

Watch your city grow organically

No rigid grid. Your city develops naturally, expanding through districts shaped by your choices and your citizens.  No two playthroughs look the same.

Build monuments from history

Construct iconic landmarks like the Library of Alexandria, Windsor Castle, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Palace of Versailles and more to give your city a unique identity through time.

Interact with factions

Factions have personalities — Altruist, Warrior, Expansionist, and more — and they have demands. You can accept proposals directly, negotiate terms, or choose to favor one faction over another. Engage as much or as little as the game calls for.

How is Memoriapolis different from other city builders?

Your city grows organically and you guide your dynasty across the ages. Factions add depth but you are free to engage with these systems at your own pace.

I played Memoriapolis before, what has changed?

Banners & Wonders is the biggest update since launch. Factions now have personalities, construction is more open, new maps have been added, and your dynasty now has a final goal : build one of three Industrial Era Wonders.

Is Memoriapolis easy?

Yes and no! Select your difficulty at the start of a run: resources, faction pressure, objectives and more… all vary depending on the level you choose.

Is Memoriapolis replayable?

Each playthrough is different thanks to different maps, different factions, different Wonder to build at the end. The organic growth of your city means no two runs look the same.

    Cities of the Month #3

Hello Builders, Every city tells a different story. Here are a few of our favorite creations shared by the community this month on Discord and Steam. The JFK ExperienceThinking big from the start.Built on the new map, this city embraces dramatic cliffs and vast open spaces. In the distance, the Eiffel Tower already hints at its journey to the Industrial Revolution.EpzilonA Forum overlooking the city.Trajan's Forum takes center stage on this hilltop, turning the highest point of the city into a monumental district visible from afar.MooDieDooA fresh start on the new map!Built during Antiquity, this city already makes full use of the map's open landscape, leaving plenty of room to shape its future through the Ages.Doc_HotpantsThe story isn't over yet.The Industrial Revolution has arrived, but the open landscape around the Eiffel Tower makes it feel like the city could keep growing forever.NeaA city you'd want to wander through.Quiet neighbourhoods and carefully placed landmarks give this city a warm and inviting atmosphere.AlagusterA challenge worthy of the Crystal Palace.Built on Hard difficulty, this city is a testament to careful planning. A compact, thriving city with an impressive collection of monuments!Your turn!Want to see your city featured in the next edition?Share your screenshots on our Discord or in the Steam Community Hub. We can't wait to discover what you'll build next. -- The Memoriapolis Team

    Cities of the Month #2

Hello builders,Last month, we started highlighting some of the cities shared by the community, and you clearly delivered! From sprawling capitals to cities built around rivers, mountains, and natural landmarks, it's always fascinating to see how differently everyone approaches the same game. Here are a few of our favorite screenshots from this month.ZartikOne city, two shores. A beautiful example of how rivers can shape the development of an entire region, with distinct districts growing on each side of the water.Delna CendraA city that has grown around its landscape rather than against it.The natural obstacles, bridges, and districts give this city a strong identity.EvidwolsDense, busy, and full of life. This city almost feels like a living maze where every available space has found a purpose.JoujouA great example of how terrain can become part of the city's story. The elevated district overlooking the rest of the city creates a striking focal point.KailisStarting small doesn't always stay small. What began as a modest settlement will grow into a city that follows the curves of the river beautifully.RahnuSome cities feel designed. Others feel discovered. With two bridges, Rahnu’s city looks like the kind of place you could stumble upon while traveling and immediately believe it exists beyond the game! The WildrunnerSometimes the best views are found closer to the streets, where landmarks emerge between rooftops, rivers carve through neighborhoods, and every angle feels like a postcard waiting to happen. This screenshot is a great reminder that Memoriapolis can be just as enjoyable when you slow down and take in the scenery.Thank you to everyone who shared screenshots with us this month. If you'd like your city to appear in the next Cities of the Month, feel free to post screenshots on Steam, Discord, Reddit, or social media. We love seeing what you're building. See you next month! — The Memoriapolis Team
