In Towers, Turrets, Turtles, players build and upgrade intricate turret defenses to fend off the Pea Horde. This 2023 action-strategy game offers a unique blend of tower defense and puzzle-solving in a vibrant, early-access experience from Nanobotz Interactive Media.

About this game

Turrets, Towers, Turtles is a throwback to the classics of the Tower Defence genre, where you defend the computer tower from the endless hordes of villainous peas.

Each Turret, Pea, and projectile is cel shaded in a clean, bright style with sharp outlines, meaning that even the most frantic of battles are easy to read and respond to.

This is important since the Peas have more than a few tricks up their sleeves to keep you on your toes, ranging from armour and defences, speed, and even circus cannons! Learn how these unique enemies interact with the terrain and your turrets, then do your best to keep them at bay no matter what.

Unlike many others in the genres, the peas won't follow a set path and will actively find the best way to get to the tower. it’s up to you to build deadly mazes and find the best way possible to stop them from getting through.
Different types of Peas may not be coming from the same direction, so choosing where and when to place your turrets will mean the difference between victory and defeat.

Money is tight and you'll need to respond quickly to keep up with the huge variety of Peas heading your way.
Prepare your defences using an accessible yet powerful building and upgrade system, giving you endless choices with how you survive and progress.
Each turret has it's use, and a unique super upgrade will help it specialise even further.

    Towers, Turrets, Turtles, Tutorials

Hi everyone, time for another update The big one here is we reworked the tutorial, It's now split into two parts: what you probably know if you've played a tower defence before what Towers, Turrets, Turtles does differently. it does this with a really neat objective system, alongside our older dialogue and image popup systems. the achievement for beating the tutorial is now achieved by beating the second tutorial, as is the highscores. Changes Turbo mode no longer gives more gold and increases turret costs, but instead reduces gold income. Turrets still shoot faster, and you still start with more lives. triple turbo is now the default mode rebalanced entire game, fire rate upgrades should be stronger overall, and upgrading turrets is always worth the money. turtle turrets are now (ironically) the best turrets to rush out. added noises to the Gnome peas what do you mean you've never seen the gnome peas? Fixes fixed bug where turbo mode would spawn infinite copies of the final waves. fixed bug where final wave on single turbo would not display correctly

    Towers, Turrets, Turtles, Twitch

Hi everyone, It's time for another update, this one took a bit longer than expected, but I'm happy to show the features. Twitch Integration as the title implies, the biggest feature of todays update is twtich integration, {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43300656/8a1d111c5d591d8001f8987b0f5bc92f32cde6f0.png you can connect your twitch account to Towers, Turrets, Turtles to read your (or someone elses!) Twitch chat, and the Peas will read it for you, alongside who said it. have fun shooting your Twitch viewers over and over! Improved Building We've also added two new building improvements, a centre marker, and resting grids. even when you're not building you can now see where you could build, and where your mouse is currently hovered over. we're hoping that this should make your time building a lot easier, as trying to find it all without any convenient reference when there's already so much going on can be tricky. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43300656/30fbd5d20d71cea37beed48523ecd85195e98dc9.png all of this can be disabled in the options menu, so use it how you like! Minor Fixes changed time system for several things so they now work while the game is paused, most notable is the water effects and changing music tracks adjust slam turret animation speed, so it works even when it's firing VERY quickly fixed bug where resource gain popups would block the interface fixed blocked areas in Mitchs challenge Computer Tower is now transparent while building buffed fast turret adjusted position of computer tower in hard mode fixed bug where computer tower lights wouldn't update correctly in turbo mode that's all for now, our next update will focus on new user experience and making the game easier overall, and should be MUCH faster than this one. Until next time!

    Towers, Turrets, Turtle, Tooltips!

Hi everyone, We just released a update to Towers Turrets, Turtles, this one is relatively small in nature but includes bug fixes and Quality of life improvements I'm sure everyone would like. Tooltips we now support tooltips, they're super easy to implement, so we should be putting them anywhere they'd be helpful, although this doesn't seem like a big deal, it allows us to rethink how we display data to the players. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43300656/2b62c8a8d1ad07af1f6fec022134220573394c7b.png Pausing We've also improved the pausing system, which means that the game will stop entirely when doing things like reading dialogue or browsing menus. We've also added a pause button which will stop the game and buy you time to plan! You'll find it in the top right corner, by the main menu button. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43300656/a4cd9e5c57ece7044c8ab0af5091015454784c01.png fixes improved positioning on building confirmation and upgrade panels, especially on unusual resolutions added text to explain what the turbo mode dropdown actually is fixed positioning of the circus cannon on tutorial and easy levels adjusted damage values on the turtle turret fixed bug where selling a turret wouldn't update the pathfinding until you either sold another turret or placed one. adjusted terrain collision on the easy/tutorial level, this will also change the bounds the camera can move to. fixed bug where you could select no turret by pressing hotkey for turrets that don't exist (yet)

    Towers, Turrets, Turtles, Turbo

Hi again everyone. Since we're launching tomorrow I thought I'd try to get in one more post, this time about how inspiration stuck and what I ended up doing yesterday. One of the things I saw During our beta testing over Christmas was that players would try to launch multiple waves at once, since they wanted to see bigger and more intense battles unfold on their screens, they'd do this even if it would end up losing them the game. As a response I decided to put all that optimized code to use and make TURBO MODE you may be asking, What is TURBO MODE? Turbo mode is an exciting new way to play that allows you to fight more Peas, that appear faster, and multiple times! During normal gameplay, you'll normally only have to fight a wave once, but during Turbo mode, you'll fight two or even Three waves of peas at once, they don't immediately get taken off the list either, so each wave will have multiple goes at taking you down. This mode also multiplies things like fire rate, costs, and your total number of lives to keep things relatively balanced. Take a look! While this started as a simple test to see about making the battles bigger it's actually had a really interesting impact on overall game balance, things that were generally lethal and always required considering are now easily ignored, and vice versa, it's also REALLY made me reconsider how I place my turrets, as the usual strategies don't work anymore. That's all for now, I look forward to seeing you at the launch, and hearing all your feedback on how it plays and what we can adjust!
