About this game

A relaxing time on a high-tech cruise ship turns into a mystery for the ages!

The robot staff onboard the Violet Skies have been getting hacked and turning violent by a mysterious third party. You are hired by Clash, a sentient robotic police assistant turned investigator, to find whoever is responsible before it is too late. The two of you will work together and interrogate potential suspects; how the case is handled will be affected by your decisions. Do you butter up the jerkish hacker or punch him? Do you show empathy towards the overworked waiter or tell him to suck it up? It is up to you! Just be aware that Clash is paying attention to how you handle every situation…

Clash: Robot Detective – Complete Edition also includes a bonus story that unlocks after the main game is completed. This epilogue – called Steel Barista - takes place sometime after the main game and involves a case of cold-blooded machine murder. A robotic barista at the local coffee shop is found dead in a pool of her own oil. You play as a person temporarily hired by Clash while his assistant is away to bring the murderer to justice.

  Permanent Price Drop Available + Sequel in Early Access Soon!

  This is something I have been debating with myself for awhile. Therefore, I should just do it immediately instead of easing everyone in to it. Ripping off band-aids never backfires.   Nominate Clash for Story Rich in the Steam Awards!

  Tis that time of the year, where people are ready to get past all this Fall nonsense and jump into Christmas. But never mind that, we are here to talk Steam Awards and Autumn Sales! I humbly ask that you consider nominating Clash: Robot Detective - Complete Edition for the Story Rich award. I'm just one lady so I can't really bribe you or anything about this, and heck I sincerely doubt I'll even get in considering I released the same year as South Scrimshaw (oh and all those big name games like BG3 I guess), but even just one person finding my little story grand enough to nominate it for an award would mean so much. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43223122/11f4284fba01b87b724963f58f34e9e2c36ffe81.png And if you haven't had a chance to actually play the game and judge the story for yourself, it's on sale in the Autumn Sale this week for 50% off! When I wrote the very first version back in 2021, I did not think I'd have anyone reading it at all. But I have gotten some lovely messages and fanart since then, as well as opportunities for growth that I really never thought I'd get (more details on that cryptic comment as they arrive). I've even been able to take what I've learned from the experience and use it to teach and encourage others with writing as well; that's really the best part, honestly. It's not about money or awards (although to be quite frank, those are very nice to have), its about the smiles.   Quick Announcement/Update about the eBook DLC...

  So the first big piece of news: yes, I'm working on it. For the first draft, I'm just porting all the lines over into a Word document and then reformatting them into something more bookish. From there, its just going to be revising and making it read like PROPER LITERATURE. Okay, maybe not "proper" on the lines of Sherlock Holmes or something. But more proper than it currently is. But as I'm going through, I'm noticing a lot of lines that aren't as clear as when I first wrote the visual novel. Which is a normal process, I've learned. What reads great before doesn't read so well when you check on it months or years later. But the great thing about visual novels is that you can update them much easier than you can a published book. So while I am working on the novelization, I'm also revising the game. So eventually, this game is going to get not only an eBook for DLC but it will get what I assume will be a fairly big update. Basically revising scenes from good to better. I'll come up with a kicky name for this update later.
