Patch NotesOfficial
Patch 2.0.0 is LIVE Now
So, in the last 3 days since release, I've been looking and waiting to see what kind of issues people find, and have addressed the once found so far here: Bugs Fixed: - Doors in the Warped Hallway being able to be opened, resulting in the Player falling into the abyss if they walk through them - Fixed a bug with playing the game, going into the menu, and the Levels not resetting, locking players out from continuing their gameplay. These are all the bugs so far found. I will patch the game more as more bugs are found, so make sure to report any bugs you find on the Discord: Discord: https://discord.gg/TWagPZrG96Read full article on Community Announcements (LenexTL)AnnouncementsOfficial
OFFICIAL RELASE OF GAME
THE GAME IS FINALLY OUT!!! Weird to think about that the game is actually released on Steam now, but yeah...here it is! I do wanna say this: 1: I will update this game the moment any bugs are found 2: I had to cut content due to a few reasons, so if some areas seem weirdly paced, that is why 3: If you buy the game, and played through all of it, unless you REALLLYYYY DID NOT ENJOY it, please don't refund it...please. 4: I hope you enjoy it :3Read full article on Community Announcements (LenexTL)AnnouncementsOfficial
Help for anyone stuck (SPOILERS)
So, a lot of people apparently have been playing the demo so far, and it seems a few have been getting stuck especially on the Clock Puzzle, so a small hint I will give here is: Look at the clocks in the hallway (E to interact) and see what times they chime at. This hint should helpfully help anyone whose stuck on that puzzle. I have already implemented a hint inside the game (current version, not released) and that will be part of the full game. If you still need help, make sure to join the Discord to ask any questions and I'll be happy to help! Major Updates about the game and steam page
Been a long time since I have made an official announcement here, but here I am! In this post I mainly want to talk about a few things, such as changes to the game, store page, and unofficial release date. Changes to the Game and Steam Page This steam page originally was made for 'The Darkest Paths', but as you can probably tell, that has changed. Due to a few reasons, if you have not watched any of the videos on my YouTube Channel, the Darkest Paths development has been paused for the time being, and I have been working on a different game / IP, which the steam page has been changed to now. This game / IP is actually based on a book series I wrote when I was 18 (and almost published as well), and the game takes place in the same universe as the book series, but in a different time and place. Just wanted to share that cool little fact here. :3 Unofficial Release Date Some of you here have had this game wishlisted for a REALLLLYYYY long time, and to those who were looking forward to the Darkest Paths, I apologize. But to those who are excited for this new IP, yay! This new game has been in development for around 6-8 months now, and a lot has been changed, added, and re-made during the development process. Recently, I have decided to expand the game CONSIDERABLY because I want to give people the best possible experience and play time (in terms of hours to what people pay), but of course, expanding a game increases development time. However, the game is surprisingly enough quite close to being done. There are a few sections which have to be made and optimized, yes, but a majority of the BIG things have been completed and tested, and with that in mind, I am aiming for a release date of around end of May to Early / Mid July. Now, this is ONLY A ROUGH GUESS of when I am HOPING to release the game, but hopefully the game will be done around the end of next month, April, and then I can do playtests to find any bugs / issues / exploits and fix them before officially releasin...Read full article on Community Announcements (LenexTL)AnnouncementsOfficial
Updates Regarding Playtesting
Hey, long time no see! Today I want to announce some things regarding our last post where we announced that we'd do Playtests for the game. So, getting right into it, we have decided that instead of doing Beta Playtesting's or etc, we are going to release a free demo of the game, which will take place in the 1st Half of the 1st Chapter, and that you can download on your Steam Page. This demo will work as a way for us to get a general idea of what people like so far and dislike, any bugs they find that we can fix before the full release, and also give players a small insight into what the game will be like, so everyone can see whether it is for them or not! There is currently not EXACT release date for the demo, as things are still being developed and worked on, however we do believe that around the end of May, or May 30th, will be the release date for the demo. We believe that due to how fast we have made progress in the last couple of weeks, and with how things have been going so far. I also want to mention that we have a YouTube Channel now. On that channel we upload Devlogs of the progress and what we have made, as well as discussing some things about the game you would not hear anywhere else. So if you are interested please check it out! YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCywb9qycjjx566VeQdGBdrg We are also currently working on getting a website, but that will still take a while, so that will be all for today! Until next time, goodbye!Read full article on Community Announcements (LenexTL)
