Embark on a haunting journey through The Infernal Masquerade, where you must navigate Venetian masks and uncover vampires in a strategic blend of indie and casual gameplay.
About this game
The adventure starts in 1868, aboard a ship sailing towards London, as a vampire hunter searching for the undead menace hidden among the masqued partygoers traveling.
Armed with roses, infused with the sunlight that made them grow, you mark the suspected vampires by placing the roses on their chests and finally release their energy to scorch the bloodsuckers to smoldering husks. You will be helped by the humans among the vampires, whom are too afraid to all but hint whom in their surroundings is a vampire.
You will move from different locations to clear often several groups of people from the infected.

Cleaning out the closet
This was a long overdue update, and the main reason is that at this moment there is a need for voices that not only condemn using generative AI in their development but also take responsibility of their own use of GenAI.The art room, the main hall art, the store page art and some background assets and also the episode icon were either created or were heavily assisted by Dalle Mini (a low bar, yes) and in some cases a locally run Stable Diffusion instance. They have now either been replaced by works that have been in the public domain as they were created centuries ago or created by a human artist. LLM:s or generative audio/music have not been used in the development of this game. One of the reasons why I'm coming out with this is that not most, but almost all studios use AI somewhere in the process without disclosing it. This is not very deep insider information, but known by most even semi-connected game developers. I have been one of them, but I also want to move away from this practice and I want to come clear with this. This game has no generative AI in it as of now and I regret using it in the first place.Read full article on Community Announcements (Aarree)
