About this game

"Shut Up and Dance" is a story-rich adult visual novel which tells the story of a young man's life taking a turn for the worse and everything going downhill instantly.
A beloved person dies under suspicious circumstances, and in the blink of an eye, the life you're used to is gone - a cozy home, plenty of money and food, college tuition paid in full.
Your carefree life - everything gone in a heartbeat.



As it stands now, there seems no way out of this. You decide to leave school and start working to help with the current situation, both financially and emotionally. Until out of the blue, our protagonist receives an exciting job offer from an unexpected quarter that promises to improve things.

But is it going to be a curse or a blessing?
Well, that will be up to you as you call the shots and make the decisions.

  Ep.12 Ch.1: Preview

  Hey guys!I’m currently working on Violet’s sequence, and this week’s devlog is basically a story about how everything went against the plan, lol.For the upcoming scenes, I needed to expand the massage parlor with a new massage room, corridor, and reception area. The massage room wasn’t much of a problem, but finding a suitable reception turned into a surprisingly big headache.I went through my asset library, checked every store I could think of, and even tried combining parts of existing locations, but nothing really worked. Most of the available sets were either heavily overused in other games, didn’t fit the style, or simply looked nothing like the place I had in mind.So, in the end, I decided to build it myself from scratch.I’m definitely not a professional modeler, so it took quite a while to get everything looking right. Luckily, I could use existing Daz assets for most of the furniture and smaller props, while I focused on the walls, lighting, reception desk, partitions, and other structural elements.I think it turned out pretty decent for a noob like me, heh. More importantly, the location now looks the way I wanted it to and will be used multiple times throughout both Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, so the extra work should definitely pay off.And I hope you didn’t think I’d leave you with just the interior pics, right?Here’s how our lovely mob lady is going to look in the upcoming sequence.Because of what happens in the scene, I needed something a bit more conservative for Violet while still keeping it sexy enough to suit her. So, no dangerously low-cut dresses this time, which is a bit of a bummer...But she’s going to undress anyway, so I guess that’s a pretty fair trade. ;-pI actually like this look on her quite a lot. It feels more restrained and business-like than what she usually wears, while still looking unmistakably Violet.   Ep.12 Ch.1: Preview

  Hey guys!I’m finishing Sarah’s scene right now. I’ve just posed the final animations with her, and they’ll be rendered tomorrow along with a bunch of remaining still images. Once that’s done, her scene will be fully completed and I’ll finally be able to move on to Violet!The upcoming Violet sequence consists of two scenes. One takes place in the massage parlor and involves a troublesome client, while the other happens in her office with a character who appeared quite a long time ago in the story. I’ll try not to spoil too much, but I’ll make sure to prepare some good sneak peeks with Violet for you.In Violet's scene, I’ll also need to build the remaining part of the parlor, specifically the reception area. It’ll be used in both Episode 12 Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, so the extra work will definitely come in handy later. And, of course, I’ll need to pick and adjust a hot outfit for Violet... She’s going to undress this time... again... like she usually does, heh.Episode 12 Chapter 1 will mostly focus on her new task, so Violet and MC’s interactions this time will be more about teasing, flirting, and building things up. A proper scene with some real action is planned for Episode 12 Chapter 2. Still, I want even her more “informational” scenes to feel hot, so I’ll do my best to make them visually interesting and keep that Violet mood throughout. ;-pMy plan for this week is to finish the scene in the parlor, or at least get as close to the end as possible, and if I’m lucky, start working on the office scene as well. Neither of these scenes has any animations, so I should be able to move through them pretty quickly despite the extra work required to expand the location.That’s it for now, guys.   Ep.12 Ch.1: Preview

  Hey guys!I’m already past the halfway point with Sarah’s scene. So far everything is going smoothly and according to plan. I’ve got a few more animations left to pose and render, and then I can move on to the next sequence with Violet.It’ll be a relatively short sequence about her newly acquired business and some of the problematic clients places like that have to deal with from time to time. I’ll tell you more about it once I actually get started, but for now - gotta finish Sarah’s scene first!I also prepared a few banners for you, since the actual in-game renders might be a bit too spoilerish for some players. Hopefully you’ll like them!P.S. Initially, Sarah was supposed to wear a bra in this scene, which would’ve looked so much hotter, to my mind. But I messed up, lol. I had already made quite a few renders before I suddenly realized that I’d completely forgotten to add such a nice little part of her outfit...   Ep.12 Ch.1: Preview

  Hey guys!The opening teaser for the new chapter is fully rendered, I’m already working on the regular scenes, and a proper spank render-bank with enough images is ready too... which means I can finally get back to our regular weekly devlogs and sneak peeks!So, right now I’m working on the first full-length lewd scene of the episode, Morning with Sarah. I wanted to give MC one calm and pleasant morning before the hurricane of Episode 12 hits him, and hopefully Sarah will do a great job of keeping him relaxed while she still can. ;-pSo, what’s going to happen there?Sarah is watching the morning news about a scandalous blogger and all the trouble he keeps getting into with different celebrities. She just can’t understand why people like him seem to get everything they want while everyone else has to go to work, pay the bills, and somehow survive in this world. She thinks it’s unfair, and MC jokingly asks what she would do if she were famous herself.Naturally, that conversation leads to a bit of flirting... and from there, the morning gradually turns into something much more fun and intimate.It’ll be a pretty standard-sized SUaD scene. I’m planning around 6 or 7 animations for it, and the first batch should already be done this week. So far everything is going smoothly, and after spending so much time on planning and the opening scenes, it feels really good to finally be back to this part of development, heh.That’s it for now, guys.   Episode 12 Is Fully Written!

  Hey guys!It's been quite a while since the last post. I know I really took my time writing it, and I honestly expected it to be finished at least a month earlier, but apparently reality had other plans, heh.So... I don't even know where to start. The finished Episode 12 script comes in at 136 pages, which is damn huge. The previous one was around 80 pages, and I thought that was super big. Apparently Episode 12 now wants Episode 11 to hold its beer.I ended up having to rethink and rework a lot more than I expected. First of all, I realized that the original outline no longer quite matched the current state of the story. It was also missing several key pieces needed to connect everything properly to the final Episode 13.I had to fix all of that first and brainstorm every route, taking into account all the characters and every possible path they could be on. I guess I spent 1-2 weeks just putting together a super detailed plan for every single scene in the final two episodes.Then, once the "new rough plan" was done, I needed to make sure it covered all the necessary events and that every storyline developed logically. Only after all of that could I finally start the usual routine: writing the actual dialogue.So, what will be happening in Episode 12?First, the main story. There are no random scenes, no scenes "just for fun," and no scenes built solely around a specific sexy idea or situation. In one way or another, every scene in the new episode either pushes the main story toward its conclusion or develops, and sometimes even finishes, a character's storyline. I don't really want any of the characters to have their story end abruptly. They all deserve a full arc. ;-pAnd obviously, now we'll see much more of what Jake has been doing all this time, what Violet really wants, how Laura's investigation is going, what Emma has in store for us, and so on. It'll be packed with events.The biggest scenes will involve Violet, Laura, Nora (Charlie's widow), and Emma.Our all-time ...
