    Gameplay flow & Bugs hotfix

    - Fixed some areas of the game having sudden stops of momentum, nudged the placement of a few efields (Zephyr refills) and added a few extra as well, to areas that needed it. This, paired up with the new zephyr upgrade tweaks, makes the game feel slightly more airborne. - Fixed the roman numerals in Final Emerald Altar. - Fixed an issue where some players had emeralds getting reset. (if first played in the initial release, then played after a patch) - Other small bug fixes across the levels. - Fixed a couple map player containment issues. - Corrected a few lighting bugs in various levels.

Our first big update is live, including new ‘Zen Mode’!

Hello everyone, Firstly thank you so much to everyone who has bought the game, it’s been a whirlwind first few days! We’ve been super busy every day since launch watching all your playthroughs, reading all your reports and working up our first big post-launch update for the game! The first big one to note: we added a “Zen Mode”! This brings a whole new feel to the world of Europa, for any players who just want to move through the world peacefully without any threats. Gardeners won’t attack, turrets won’t shoot at you, mines won’t blow you up - just chill vibes all the way through. We’re really hoping this helps open up the Europa experience to even more players and play styles. We also added a Chapter select function, so that when you’ve completed the game, you’ll be able to jump back into any levels you like, carrying over your progress from your existing playthrough - Journal, Bestiary and Emerald collections will all carry over. This should be great for any of you hunting down achievements! For the Emerald Collectors in particular, we’ve added some info to the Emerald Room near the end of the game that should give you an idea of where the emeralds you’ve missed might be. When you do jump back into the game, any emeralds you’ve previously collected will now show as greyed out “ghost emeralds” to make it super clear which ones are the ones you’re missing. On top of this we’ve made a ton of bug fixes, UX improvements, tweaks and polish across the whole game. We’re going to be keeping a very close eye here, on the Steam forums, and on our Discord and will be doing everything we can to make sure we can deliver a great experience for as many of you as possible, so keep your eyes out here for more updates and news very soon! Thanks so much for all the support through our first few days - it really means the world to us. Much love, -Helder & the Europa team
