A Shaman's Ballard

About this game

A shaman's ballard tells the story of Melody, a shaman apprentice summoned by the ancient goddess to go on a pilgrim journey for her shanar, the rite of initiation to the order of Aahkray. It turns out Erenblad holds more secrets than anticipated and Melody must use her sound bending abilities not only to reach the goddess, but also to protect the land from imminent danger.

Inspired by real shamanism.

  Update 3

  Hello Shamen! ːHappyFlodeː I didn't think I was ever going to update this game ever again. It's complete and has been for a long time now. However, I decided to give it another round and patch up the visuals slightly. The update is not that big, but it does polish the game a little bit. - Changed the text font to a nicer looking one (Avdira) instead of using the engine's default font - Slight visual updates to the shaman temple - Updated the credits slightly to fix a small mistake Because of the game's age and complete state, I don't really feel like updating it any further is necessary unless it's event related. So, unless any glitches show up, this most likely is the final update for the game. But then again, I thought so last time too. Only time will tell. Feedback is always appreciated.   A Shaman's Ballard V2

  Hello Shamen! The game has been left unatended for some time admittedly, because not too many issues were found before. I recently replayed it though and did some tweaks. Fixed a few typos Fixed a few tileset issues (being able to walk where you shouldn't) A specific quest scene could be triggered multiple times. That should no longer be possible A store was selling the same item twice, removed the duplicate item The final boss takes no damage from fire, but could be affected by burning. This didn't make much sense and is no longer possible Some negative states took an incredibly long time to walk off and no text told players about the states disappearing. Now it should It should now be more likely to encounter some fishing mobs while fishing at certain locations Some other very minor tweaks to a few locations Both A Shaman's Ballard and Trials of Proelium can be bought in a bundle.
