About this game
Welcome to 2032. Arenas are built all over the world and fans rush to the stands to admire their modern-day heroes, the Roller Champions. They roll up to 100 miles an hour, tackle opponents, wall-skate, and dunk while thousands of fans scream their names.
As a Roller Champion, compete in a team of three against three. The rules are simple: take the ball, make a lap while maintaining team possession, dodge opponents, and score. Go for more points by completing additional laps before attempting a goal. After each match, gain fans to compete in bigger arenas. Customize characters and create a unique destiny.

Team up with two players and dive into Roller Champions’ gameplay, which combines fun competitive action and collaborative team play.- Go head-to-head against the opposing team through speed, wit, crushing tackles, and daring dodges to lap around the arena and be the first team to reach 5 points by throwing the ball through the hoop.
- Feel the thrill of riding up and down the wall of the arena as you gain speed, quickly stop, pivot, and re-position as your teammates race towards the goal, just one pass away from winning or one interception away from having to start all over again.

- Progress through Roller Champions’ ranked mode from Garage league all the way to the Elite Champions’ league.
- Compete in thrilling time-limited special game mode to gain fans or special lootballs.

- Progress through the Roller Pass to gain season-exclusive items, spectacular goal FX and emotes, lootballs and in-game currency (wheels).
COME HANG IN THE SKATEPARK

MAP ROTATION Three new maps have been added: Fallen Temple Hidden Cenote Lost Civilization All maps are now playable in Custom Matches, Quick Matches, Ranked, and Hot Potato. This includes all maps from Kickoff season, Disco Fever, Dragon’s Way, Neo Retro, and Wild Ones. Online matchmaking will prioritize Wild Ones maps for a time during the start of the season. GAME MODES The Hot Potato game mode is available in Custom Matches. The Arena 8 map variant is available in Custom Matches. The 2v2 Acapulco map variant is available in Custom Matches. Some elements like player introductions are hindered when more than 4 players are present. AI teammates have severely limited functionality while playing in this mode. Neo Retro Mid-Season Title Update Patch Notes
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43300920/ff355e4eda36ef602d1d8bb30227a4f0ed5d09a5.pngKEY UPDATES DAILY MATCH BONUS The Daily Match Bonus has been changed to give three escalating rewards: Match 1: 75 Fans Match 2: 100 Fans Match 3: Basic Lootball and 300 Fans STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS Achievements for Roller Champions are added to the Steam version of the game. GAME BALANCING CATCHING Reduced the possession delay for catching the ball after it becomes free . Note: This change, alongside other backend changes, will remove the “Bug Shot” where passes were unblockable because the ball would pass through opponents at a close enough range. Reduced the possession delay for catching the ball after a player performs a tackle . Note: We’ve seen submitted videos of players landing a tackle only to have the tackled player recover and get back the ball before the tackler can, even as they seemingly pass through it. We’re hoping this change will significantly reduce the frequency of that behavior. Increased player’s grab radius during a dive. DODGES Increased the hitbox of Air Dodge and Dodge Dive moves. MATCH CANCELLATION Fixed an issue where players quickly leaving Ranked Matches (dodging) would not be properly sanctioned. SETTINGS Increased maximum headroom for gamepad/controller sensitivity options. Note: Mouse and keyboard have had a higher capacity for snappy camera movement and will likely still have a higher ceiling. Though we’re hoping this change will raise the capacity for faster camera control for gamepad players. TEAM MOVES Decreased the speed boost of Team Moves in situations where there is no ground friction. Note: We want to keep the high-impact flare, speed, and playmaking capabilities of team moves – however some use cases where the move was not limited by ground friction caused the move to be far more powerful than intended. PLAYER COMFORT CAREER PAGE Fixed team moves, interceptions, goal blocks, tackles, win streaks, and assists occasionally not updating on the career page. Fixe...Read full article on Community Announcements (Ubi-RealDude)AnnouncementsOfficial
Neo Retro
The 90's called, and we answered! Neo Retro is online, bringing the 8-bit brilliance of the past to the roller rinks of the future. That means new maps, new quality cosmetics, new game modes, and- What? Roller Champions is evolving! Another new platform is approaching?! That's right! Steam is rolling into the arena as our newest supported platform for Roller Champions. Just in time too, as we're rolling with Challenger Mode to bring you a series of weekly tournaments - every Saturday of Neo Retro in both North America and Europe. Find full details on everything below! NEW MAPS Neo Retro turns back the clock with three new crisp, colorful, and polygon-filled maps to roll around at the speed of sound. Enjoy the green, emerald hills of Arcadia; calculate your every move in the high-definition Pixel City; then become part of the machine (always playing clean) on Pinball Stadium! This is also the first time we'll be fully rotating the map selection. So, the original three, ol' faithful Acapulco, Mexico Arena, and Mayan Stadium will be going on hiatus. For now... NEW ROLLER PASS Neo Retro of course comes with a new Roller Pass, topped off with fly, high-definition bling, worthy of at least a few up-til-dawn game nights. It comes with 60 tiers and, as always, gives enough Wheels on the premium track to cover the cost. Grab your snacks, soda, skates, and start rolling! NEW GAME MODE: CLONE CLASH A new challenger is approaching... it's you! And you again! Before jumping into the rotation of classic game mode and minigames, we're starting Neo Retro with the launch of Clone Clash, an all-new way to jump into the non-stop momentum of Roller Champions. Step up with your squad of AI teammates - your clones - and battle it out against another solo opponent in a 1v1 matchup. When your AI teammate has the ball, you'll assume direct control and swap your perspective to that clone. Now there's a whole new meaning to the term "self-pass!" Cycle control between your entire team of clone...Read full article on Community Announcements (Ubi-RealDude)Community & EventsOfficial
Event Guide
MINIGAMES LOOTBALL MADNESS Lootball Madness takes place in the Skatepark social hub and lasts for one minute after the event begins, with multiple occurrences possible at different time intervals. Once the countdown ends, a Lootball is dropped into the park. How Do You Play? Jump into your Skatepark within the specified timeframe of the event, get yourself warmed up, and get ready for the madness. How Do You Win? Simply be the player holding onto the Lootball when the timer expires, and you’ll earn yourself a Lootball. STAR DASH Star Dash brings Disco to the skate park, complete with a spinning disco ball. When the event begins, the disco ball will begin to spin and shoot stars into one section of the park. This happens a total of three times. How Do You Play? Pick up as many of the stars that are shot out of the disco ball as you can, try to tackle your opponents to keep them from picking up stars. Watch out yourself, because if you get tackled after you’ve picked up any stars, you will lose one each time you are tackled! How Do You Win? When the time runs out, make sure you’re the skater with the highest number of total accumulated stars and you’ll win the minigame and a prize as well! STAR DASH SUPERNOVA Star Dash Supernova is just like the classic Star Dash minigame, except the disco ball will also toss explosive stars into the mix. Avoid picking these up as they’ll make you drop any stars you’ve collected, just like being tackled! – More events are coming soon! GAME MODES 2V2 Just like it says on the tin, 2v2 changes up the 3v3 Quickplay formula by reducing each team to only 2 Champions. The arena is also smaller to accommodate the faster, more hectic pace of two duos. How Do You Play? When selecting the mode you want to play, you’ll find 2v2 as an available option in addition to the standard Quickplay, Ranked, Custom Match, or Skatepark. How Do You Win? You know the drill, first to 5 or highest score at the end of the match timer. 1 Lap for 1 point, 2 Laps for...Read full article on Community Announcements (Ubi-RealDude)Community & EventsOfficial
Dev Blog: Roller Champions Community Tournament License
Roller Champions was created with you, the community, in mind. With all of the energy in our competitive culture, there have been many questions around the guidelines for community run tournaments. We hope to provide as much clarity as possible on that in the following article. We are excited to see what kind of amazing events you organize with our game but do ask that you follow the rules below when running your community made tournaments. CONDITIONS The first thing you need to assess is whether you meet the conditions to run a community tournament, as the Community Tournament License is only valid if you are following the proper rules, listed here: Non-Profit Only: Your tournament needs to be non-profit meaning that any payment you receive to organize the tournament (including crowdfunding and sponsoring) shall only serve to cover the total organization costs of the competition, including the total amount of the offered prizes and rewards. No Television broadcasting: Only free, online streaming is possible. No Viewing Fee online: You may not charge online spectators a fee to watch your tournament. WHAT YOU ARE ALLOWED TO DO While promoting your tournament feel free to do any of the following: Use game assets - This can be the Roller Champions logos, Game footages and/or images “AS IS”* to promote the tournament for its duration. Use the game itself to stream, live broadcasts and made VODs of the tournament. Archive VODs of the tournament as long as it is not causing damage to Ubisoft’s goodwill or reputation. This part is very important: *You cannot adapt and/or modify and/or alter the assets without asking Ubisoft’s prior written permission. You shall not use in the name of the Tournament, the words “Championship”, “League”, “Major”, “Division” and/or “Circuit” associated with the name of the Game, you also can’t use ‘’Roller League’’ or any other word or combination which may imply that your tournament is part of an official Ubisoft esports competition. If you w...Read full article on Community Announcements (Ubi-RealDude)
