Mars, Venus, the Moon, Jupiter and its moons, Saturn and its rings of asteroids, numerous orbital stations, and much more. Every planet and moon is an open playground, ready to be explored and exploited as you see fit.
In QANGA, space is both your playground and battlefield. You can craft your own adventure solo or with friends, create your own game servers to build communities, and experiment with alternative gameplay modes.
A World of Possibilities: Combat, Trade, Building, Survival, and Exploration
In QANGA, you play as a human citizen who has been cryogenically frozen and synchronized with a cyborg, exploring the far reaches of space and Earth to collect items, complete missions, and thrive. Your journey begins at the Refuel Tower of ICLab Industrie, but the vastness of the cosmos calls out to you.
- Scavenging and Trading: Explore diverse environments to find rare and valuable items. Sell them to upgrade your gear, buy better weapons, vehicles, and other essential items.
- Contracts and Missions: Take on various contracts to retrieve packages, eliminate enemies like the Sanglines, discover hidden zones, or destroy rogue cyborgs. Each mission brings you closer to your objectives, with various rewards.
- Survival and Combat: Fight enemies in hostile environments, whether in space or on Earth. The Sanglines, creatures born from Earth's climate upheavals, are your sworn enemies. Develop your survival skills and face the dangers of space and Earth.
- Base Building: Players can build their bases anywhere in the universe — on all planetary surfaces and, eventually, on sufficiently large asteroids. Create strategic outposts, secure shelters, or industrial complexes to support your exploration and combat in the QANGA universe.
Refuel Towers: Your Operational Bases
On the surface of Earth, Refuel Towers act as operational hubs, inspired by extraction mechanics. Here, you can refuel, accept contracts, sell your finds, and interact with other players, creating a unique balance between exploration, trade, and combat.
A Multiplayer Sandbox with Multiple Objectives
QANGA offers a unique blend of sandbox, survival, and space simulation. The game allows you to create your own adventure, with multiple objectives to achieve depending on your play style. Whether you choose to become a successful space trader, a feared bounty hunter, or a bold explorer, the choice is yours.

QANGA Update - Patch Notes v0.0.22a
Greetings, Cyborgs. The previous update rebuilt QANGA on a new engine and introduced an entirely new AI system. This new AI brings that world to life. Planets are now home to wildlife and rival factions that hunt, patrol, and fight each other on their own, ships cross the skies, you can recruit cyborgs to fight alongside you, building finally costs resources, every vehicle can turn on the radio while a soundtrack adapts to what you are experiencing, and gunplay has been rebuilt from the ground up, all with an upgrade to DLSS 4.5 and a performance pass designed to keep things running smoothly when the action heats up.🚀 HighlightsA Living WorldUntil now, the wilderness belonged to the Sanglines. Earth is now teeming with life. A new planetary spawning system populates the world with multiple factions that coexist, patrol, hunt, and fight according to their allegiances, a police patrol might run into the Voss, encounter Sanglines or catch a predator swooping down on its prey. Every outing becomes a living and unpredictable scene, instead of just a few Sanglines to run from.New Faction: The VossAn elite paramilitary unit enters the fray. Four unit types, Soldier, Sniper, Shotgun and a Commander, armed with Nash rifles (V1 for the troops, V2 for the Commander). They go after you, the police and the Sanglines. The Sky Comes AliveShips now cross the sky around you, in both singleplayer and multiplayer, with a wide variety of models and altitudes, some pass high and far away, others low and close, emerging from the horizon before continuing on their way. The world feels much more alive when you explore or take to the skies.Recruit a SquadNeed backup? Hold F on a civilian cyborg for about 3 seconds (for $500) and they will join you as an armed squadmate. They retain their appearance and colors, but receive a ranged weapon and random equipment, and fight by your side, they follow you, defend you and slowly regenerate health. They get into vehicles with you (and man the turret i...Read full article on Community Announcements (NOS ✪ RzZz)Patch NotesOfficial
QANGA Update - Hotfix v0.0.21b
Greetings, Cyborgs.A small follow-up since the big update with a few important fixes.🛠 FixesDedicated Server Owners, No More Manual steamclient.so : Linux dedicated servers now ship with the correct, up-to-date Steam file built in. Your server initializes Steam and registers with the master server on its own, so it shows up in the browser without any hand-editing. If your server vanished from the list after the 5.7 update, you no longer need the manual workaround from yesterday's PSA posted on steam discussions and on discord, a current install handles it automatically, and it won't need redoing on future updates.Enemies & Combat (multiplayer) : Police and pirate cyborgs no longer sometimes lean over at a weird angle unable to aim, they now stand upright and aim properly, for you and for other players (fixed in single-player too).Leaping creatures such as sanglines, sand diggers and wall-climbers no longer jump on the spot on dedicated servers, their jumps and side-lunges carry properly online.More enemies can close in at once, the number the world can keep active at a time around you has been doubled.Fixed a crash that could hit during very large battles, with a big crowd of enemies, cyborgs, ships and pirates, fighting on screen at the same time.Trams (multiplayer) : Fixed standing up from a tram seat leaving you stuck to it on dedicated servers (which forced a reconnect). You now stand up cleanly and can walk the moving tram freely, even at speed.Quests & HUD : Fixed quest markers that could still blink on some rare occasions every couple of seconds on dedicated servers.World & Inventory : Sealed three gaps (inside and outside) on some variations of Relay Towers that let you see or fall through it.Items no longer all pile onto a single slot with only the top one usable in your personal storage chest, both the chest and your backpack now lay items out correctly across every slot. Spotted a bug or have feedback? Drop it in our Discord, it shapes what gets worked on...Read full article on Community Announcements (NOS ✪ RzZz)Patch NotesOfficial
QANGA Update - Patch Notes v0.0.21a
Greetings, Cyborgs.A new major update has been deployed to QANGA, and it stands on a brand-new foundation: the entire game has moved to a newer engine version (Unreal Engine 5.7). On top of that upgrade we've rebuilt the enemy AI from the ground up, added new threats and content, brought a wave of optimizations, and cleared a long list of multiplayer and dedicated-server issues.🚀 HighlightsA New Engine FoundationQANGA has migrated to Unreal Engine 5.7, the single biggest change under the hood. It modernizes the rendering technology that draws the entire world and gives us a far more solid, future-proof base to build on. Everything else in this update stands on top of this upgrade.A Brand-New AI System The old enemy AI has been removed entirely and rebuilt from the ground up, with all-new navigation and behaviors. The new system is more efficient and more scalable: it can drive many more enemies at once and works dynamically across the world, instead of relying on the heavy pre-built navigation data the old approach needed. In practice that means bigger, smoother encounters and enemies that read the world more naturally, giving chase, coordinating as a group, and pressing in for the kill before falling back to patrol. New ThreatsTwo entirely new enemy types arrive in QANGA: armed pirates and police cyborgs, neither of which existed before. They patrol, hunt you down when they spot you, take real firing angles and flank as a group, backed up by drones. Sangline infestations received a full visual overhaul, new nests and hive structures ranging from small nests to towering spawners, with destructible weak points: shoot the cocoon on smaller ones, while larger ones pack multiple individual cocoons, each with its own health pool.Rideable TramsTrams now have rideable seats: walk up, sit down, and stay seated as the tram travels its route, you can even leave your seat while it's moving. Each tram now fires glowing animated thrusters that tilt through turns and kick up dust...Read full article on Community Announcements (iolaCorpStudio)Patch NotesOfficial
QANGA Update - Patch Notes v0.0.20a
Greetings, Cyborgs.A major new update has been deployed to QANGA. This version introduces significant structural changes, including a complete combat overhaul, the introduction of procedural questing, and critical stability improvements for dedicated servers.🚀 HighlightsProcedural Quest System \ We are introducing the first iteration of our dynamic quest engine. This system currently supports 5 mission archetypes: Extermination, Infiltration, Mining, Investigation, and Defense. These quests are generated dynamically at points of interest with auto-calculated rewards based on difficulty. This is a work-in-progress "crash-test" phase, and your feedback on pacing and rewards is essential for our next steps.Combat Overhaul & Ready Stance Tactical engagement has been completely re-engineered. All weapons now feature a Ready Stance, allowing for hip-fire without the need to aim down sights (ADS). This is accompanied by a new one-handed grip for pistols and a suite of smoother transitions between relaxed and combat poses. We have also eliminated first-person weapon drift, ensuring your sights stay perfectly locked to your camera.Refactored New Player ExperienceThe beginning of your journey has been entirely remade to be more fluid and informative. This new introductory thread takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes to complete and ensures every Cyborg is combat-ready. By following this new narrative path, you will natively unlock both a ground vehicle and a flight vehicle to aid your exploration of the solar system.Dubs and TranslationsTo enhance immersion within the universe, we are beginning to add English dubs. We want to be fully transparent: currently, these dubs are generated via AI. This is not intended to be a permanent solution. In the future, voice acting will be performed by real actors (we have already established a first contact with the actor who is set to voice Tona in the game). However, for the time being, the AI solution remains a very practical option for a...Read full article on Community Announcements (Juliaan)Patch NotesOfficial
