About this game

About Sur Le Fil (aka SLF)

SLF is an I.L.E. — Integrated Learning Environment (E.A.I. in French) — developed by AngeloStudio, blending science, history, and humor into a unique educational adventure.

In a whimsical 3D campus, you will explore and learn:

  • Electricity / Electronics

  • Mechanics

  • Computer Science (hardware & software)

  • Programming (C, C#, assembly, etc.)

  • Math, Physics, Chemistry, History of Science

Guided by Prof Fil and Kelhann (a mischievous little lightbulb), you’ll attend classes, run real experiments (saltwater battery, telegraph, DIY multimeter…), and complete missions that grow in complexity.

👨‍🔬 Everything is designed to be fun, visual, and educational — with no ads, no lootboxes — just pure learning and curiosity.

    v4.1 — Minor bug fixes

A small round of fixes to smooth out the rough edges. • Leaving a room or activity is reliable again — no more freezing after the first exit, and a quick double-click won't trigger it twice. • Switching player profiles now drops you back at the right spot on campus, with no leftover state carried over from the previous profile. • Your score now updates correctly when you return from a mission. • Sealed a couple of gaps near the pond where you could slip off the island's edge. • Cosinus's pond finally has a visible way out — a little staircase, so nobody gets stranded down there. • Softened the campus exit music (the old one was a touch spooky). • Plus various small stability improvements under the hood.

    v4.0 — The New Campus

A whole new campus The island has been rebuilt from the ground up — new look, new atmosphere, a living world to explore. Grudu welcomes you on your very first launch, Cosinus lurks in the campus pond with his usual sarcasm, and there are more characters to run into. You can now press Space to pause anywhere on the campus, not just during lessons. Fresh musical themes set the mood across the island and the lessons. MathAttack, reborn MathAttack is now a full tower-defense: solve calculations to earn Knowledge Points, then spend them on ammo to hold back the waves. A brand-new nocturnal arena, with cinematic moments where Prof'Fil, Kelhann and Cosinus comment on the action. The electronics lab — deeper and freer A new free-build sandbox to experiment with no objective. Refined thermal model: overload a bulb or resistor and it overheats and blows out — and the power supply now reads current and power correctly. You can wire and tinker while Prof'Fil is still talking, instead of waiting him out. Robert Program a real robot on his tropical island — the mission has been reworked and now runs in its own dedicated scene. Talk to the developer The in-game messaging has been rebuilt — drop a message straight from the game. I read every one. Save your work One unified save dialog now covers everything: your circuits, your Robert programs and your graded exam copies all save as files on your PC — nothing lost between sessions. Quality of life & fixes Clearer routing on the Knowledge Tree for long connections, plus a batch of simulator and UI fixes and polish across the campus. Beyond the game SLF has a brand-new website — come take a look at angelostudio.fr. Sur Le Fil is free to play. Jump back in — and if you enjoy it, a quick review really helps. 🙏

SLF Reborn 3.7 — The World is Mathematical

The World is MathematicalThis release brings the long-promised decimals and fractions to the MathCorner, and extends Pythagor Hall to circles.— Math Corner — Decimals & Fractions —A full new wave of lessons and exams arrives in the Math Corner:8 new lessons covering decimal addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and the introduction to fractions ("when a number breaks"),followed by simplifying fractions. 20 new Den exams give plenty ofpractice for each new notion.— Pythagor Hall — Circles —The PythaCercles lesson now extends to the disk's area — distinguishingthe circle (the boundary) from the disk (the interior), with concretecalculations using π ≈ 3.14.Two new Den exams on circles:• The system draws a circle; you measure its radius and diameter with your ruler, then compute the circumference and area.• You draw the circle yourself with a given radius, erase your construction marks, then answer the same four measurements.— Geometry — Quality of Life —Tool controls now show on-screen. The set square can be flipped (F).You can zoom in closer for precise constructions. And you can graband use the geometry tools while ProfFil is still talking — thescenario catches up with your anticipated actions.ProfFil's hint in Den geometry exams now also covers circles: ittells you whether the circle is missing, drawn around the wrongcenter, with the wrong radius, or simply not asked for.— More —Press Space to fully pause the game during lessons. The KnowledgeTree got a major readability pass (short names + tooltip + visibleprerequisites). Den exams now play a clear success/failure sound.Plus various fixes across the geometry stack — including the answerspage no longer leaking your construction markers into the PDF copy.Full devlog available in-game, under the Version History panel.Update is live — load up your save and dive in.
