About the Game

BUILD & CONTROL YOUR AIRSHIP

You will build and customize a high-tech airship. It will be your home, workshop, laboratory and more while flying above the surface of Earth. Control and steer it towards the ruins of our civilization and mysterious anomalies. Manage your airship hull and its integrity. Extract and gather resources to improve your airship and make it uniquely yours.

UTILIZE SCIENCE TO SURVIVE

Your scientific know-how will allow you to build and operate different machines. Analyze scanned items and reverse engineer lost technology. Research new ways of obtaining food and resources, discover new tools, and increase the chance of your survival.

SCAVENGE RUINED SKIES

Explore and extract resources from the ruins that were built up high to escape the dust. Surrounded by drifting debris caused by a strange anomaly, harvest it into raw materials to help you survive. Explore and discover the remains of our civilization. Find out what happened and why Earth evolved to a place where we lost control of our previous position at the top. Discover secrets of our past.

DESCEND BELOW THE DUST

After descending below the dust, you will discover a strange new world, the planet's surface that changed in our absence. Face evolved fauna and flora and hunt for viral pathogens to cure a mysterious illness threatening your family.

RETURN TO EARTH

Forever Skies is an action-survival game taking place on Earth, which was devastated by a global ecological disaster. This event caused the surface of the planet to be covered in a colossal layer of toxic dust. You’re returning to our planet hundreds of years later - will you recognize our world?

Thank you to everyone who sent over their logs for the hunger, thirst and oxygen meters not dropping under specific circumstances. They have been helping us narrow down and pinpoint what's causing it. We believe we have a potential fix in today's build, but we can't verify if it's working correctly. Keep speaking to us and let us know if it's worked or if it's still an issue. Here are the full patchnotes... ADDED: Added the keybind option for turning devices on and off. Help Shape the Future of Forever Skies (Concluded)

Greetings scientists, Now that Forever Skies: The Final Echoes is available across PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, we’re looking ahead to what comes next - and we want your input. We’ve put together a short community survey to learn more about what you enjoy, what you think could be improved, what frustrates you, and most importantly, what you’d like to see from future updates in Forever Skies. Thanks to our Feature Upvote Board, we already have a good idea of many of the features and improvements you’d like to see. But we want to go a step further and get a broader picture of what matters most to our community. It should only take around 8-10 minutes, and your feedback will help us understand what matters most to you as we plan the next stages of our post-launch support. We really appreciate you spending a few minutes of your free time on our survey. As a small thank you, after completing the survey, you can help yourself to some official phone and desktop screensavers taken from the in-game murals and concept arts. 👉Survey Closed See you in the Skies! Difficulty Mode Improvements Hotfix Is NOW LIVE

Greetings scientists, The latest hotfix for Ver.1.3.0 is now live. It includes fixes for some of the most-reported issues, such as nerfing enemy quantities on locations, removing redundant lightning storm notifications, missing helium, a slider for lightning flashes and more. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41775446/043c574e62ee97fc1f4bababf4250316f8478690.png We have also made improvements to the Custom Difficulty Mode to address some of the other issues raised. Thank you for your continued feedback, you’re helping make Forever Skies a better game! CUSTOM DIFFICULTY MODE IMPROVEMENTS As we continue to look through discussions on our Community tab and read through reviews, we've noticed that some players weren't aware that Custom Difficulty Mode was available to them. With this in mind, we have tweaked our difficulty settings page, both from the main menu and pause menu, to make the options more visible to players. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41775446/41e0bf458e27ff4280dacb52b9441661464b565d.gif We've added a dedicated Difficulty tab, making it much easier to find custom gameplay options such as enemy quantity, enemy health, hunger, thirst, and more. But we have also added two new options to the Custom Difficulty Mode based on your feedback: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41775446/8dc40dc409495a2abb59c213cc1926baa7cf802a.png Airship Electricity lets you disable the new Electricity system mechanics, meaning devices on your airship can be used freely, without needing to manage generators and airship power states. Storm Frequency does…well…exactly what you would expect it to do. Adjust how often you get storms in-game. If you want more storms to power your Surplus Mode, then go ahead. If not, then feel free to reduce them. Tailor the experience to suit your playstyle. You can read the full patchnotes below: ADDED: Added a new Custom Difficulty option to enable or disable the electricity system. Added a new Custom Difficulty option for storm frequency. Added difficulty settings information to the death ...
