  Altheia: The Wrath of Aferi Update 1.022 is Here!

  Hey everyone, The update for Altheia: The Wrath of Aferi is here! Your continuous support and feedback have been invaluable to the Marslit brothers as they continue to improve the game. We deeply appreciate it! Patch Notes Adjustments, balancing, and improvements: Added Toggle to use Raw Mouse Input for Camera Movement. The Pause screen now opens the map and not the inventory, making navigation smoother. Balanced the mana consumption of the great sword. Rebalanced life and mana gain from powerups. Audio balance improved. Improved menu navigation experience. You can now navigate menus using a mouse. Added accessibility settings for increasing font size. Music now fades instead of stops abruptly. Added post-game exploration. Improved performance near the harbor to the shrine Improved text readability on the Steam Deck, it should be about 20% larger now on bigger screens. Improved puzzle onboarding for the Temple of Life. Removed the two red circles from the lamps so players stop mistaking them for targets. Main menu language selection now asks you to confirm first before you switch. Improved performance in the Shrine of Life Improved performance in the Shrine of Death Improved performance in Temple of Life Improved performance in Temple of Death Improved performance in the Mine Improved performance in Stasi Improved performance in the Tower.   Devlog #1: Lili and Sadi🍃

  Greetings, adventurers! Now that Altheia: The Wrath of Aferi is released, we would like to introduce you to both of our protagonists : Lili and Sadi in our first ever devlog! ⚔️Starting off with our reluctant Guardian, Lili!⚔️Lili's story begins in Atarassia's peaceful ancient forests. Raised by her loving mother, she knew only the company of spirits, ethereal beings native to Atarassia. This isolated upbringing shaped her into someone who found solace in solitude, as she never connected with other humans. Like her mother, Lili was being trained to be a Guardian: a protector of Atarassia. Guardians have a duty to ensure the safety of Atarassia's spirits. Though Guardians are trained in many weapons, Lili’s chosen weapon is her mother’s sword. Her life changed when Aferi emerged from the shadows. Her mother, who was a sworn Guardian, fought against him and lost her life in the process. The loss of her mother has left her with no desire to save anyone. She no longer wishes to be a Guardian, nor to be hailed as a hero. But if the world can ever hope to be saved, she must take on this role. To fulfill her responsibilities to Atarassia, Lili must make peace with her own grief. She believes that she’s responsible for her mother’s death, so why should she become a Guardian? Any further involvement would just make things worse... Right? At least, that's what she believed. It is only through Sadi's insistence that Lili decides to take on the journey of a Guardian, and while she won't be able to bring her mother back... She will learn what it means for the world to rely on her, and for her to rely on others. 🤜Next up, our Monk-in-training Sadi!🤛Sadi, like all the other monks in Atarassia, grew up in the Monastery, where monks dedicate their lives to understanding the world's deepest mysteries. Here, he immersed himself in both the creative and arcane arts, spending countless hours studying the history of Atarassia through sacred scriptures that hold the secrets of ages past. ...
