An interactive game show has surfaced on the web and you're the STAR OF THE SHOW! Investigate and even compete in the show! Be prepared, this show is life and death.


Welcome to the show of a lifetime. And you, my friend. Have a front-row seat.



You play as a detective assigned to a case that is more unusual than others. A monthly annual show has taken over the web. The people that host the website are disguised within a missing person case. The case was assigned to you, take it with care. Your job is to file up a report and file it over to the right department.

But..

Seems the wrong people though, they have been informed about your interest in the case, they also may be interested in you as a detective. Maybe even as a contestant. The show must go on somehow. You have access to the Pursuer Browser, this will help you find the information to report.

As well as a VM of your mobile phone, it has some applications that'll help you compare some information to other cases if needed.



Sometimes, the hosts of the show like to hint at their next location. You can even go to that location, do some studying! Find some fingerprints, take some samples, and take them back to the station. But for now, take comfort in your own home.



Be sure to watch out though, watch everything you do, and listen to everything you do. This case you do isn't like any other normal case. As we said, you're the STAR OF THE SHOW!

  Star Of The Show - Crashing Fixes Attempt #2 - Teaser

  {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40550905/2ab5e14dd24a2c5879302fefc31d3617a2f4028e.png A few reviews and people are still having crashing issues, the last update for crashing fixes did help several, yet for some it did have issues. Here is an update that should help some crashes. I had SEVERAL issues regarding start ups. So I had to change a few scripts. Here's what I did. - Fixed the loading start up scene. No longer will there be a button to continue after an audio warning. After 10 seconds, the menu scene will load from the audio warning. If things are still crashing, I may have to remove this scene and rework the menu. - Changed several exporting options to the game. This should help with some optimization as well. - Changed some of the UI in the main menu. - Added the new Camera Man character to the menu next to The Tall Man. - In the No Key Mode, added a few models to match the original mode. Hopefully this fixes some, I genuinely am trying to get this fixed and managed. Some negative reviews on the game were made from crashes, and I'm getting my fixes in. This requires a lot of work, but I have stopped working on the 2.0 version just for these fixes. I'm back on it now. I'm reworking the story and game-play by several tweaks.   STAR OF THE SHOW 2.0 | Teaser and some updates regarding it!

This update for Star Of The Show is going to be a large new game basically, just a new mode with a work in progress story. Easier to follow and more interactive game play. This update will also have achievements! You have a new enemy to work with, newer ways to avoid getting caught and put into the show yourself, new animations with facial animations as well, I even have a small little teaser for it. Just to let you know one more time, this update is LARGE, and will take some time. I'm a single developer doing everything! D: Welcome to the new show, I'll be looking for some voice-actors for this new character, if anyone is interested. That voice will be put with the fellow next to the leader of the Nicks. This is just for a portfolio opportunity, just for a fun thing if you're interested in! This will have so much added to it. Pretty large stuff, and I've been on it for the past... Well, week. Just started it! It'll be worth the wait, I'm sure.   Star Of The Show - Crashing Fixes - Graphical Update

I've heard some people going through crashes, and I released small updates thinking it'd be a fix! And hopefully, this is a complete fix for constant crashes when loading the game up. What was the issue? Simple. I left something unchecked on the final builds on the game. Huff, other than that. Other changes were made from this update. It was a small one. Pretty small. But here are some more announcements. - Fixed crashing issues when loading the game up. - Updated the graphical volume of the game. This is just the tint of the game, basically. - Adjusted some audio ques. Just the basic outside stuff. I've been working on STAR OF THE SHOW 2.0 for the last few days!   Star Of The Show 2.0 Announcement / Bug-Fix Update #11

  Hello, things have been quiet for a minute, I let the game be what it was for now, and I see some crashing issues, and *hopefully* they have been fixed. I'll be sharing some news as well, here! - Fixed an issue where the collision on the living room chairs didn't have any collision. - Potentially fixed a freezing issue when opening the evidence page. - Adjusted some textures to be less blurry. - Adjusted the police siren audio from being too loud. (Again.) - Potentially fixed an issue with the UI cutting off from the screen due to unsupported resolutions. Other than the changes above, I will hope to have content being started on for this game. Meaning new content, or even a rework of the house completely. I'd like to change the enemy and hiding system. Add new psychics and add more to the story to make it less hidden. As well, another enemy who is very expressive. Basically, to sum things up. - New Reworked Enemy System - New House Rework - New Enemy AI - Adding New Animations - Adding New Websites And a bit more coming. Considering I just started doing the rework project, it will take some time. But some fixes will be coming along the way, too. I would also like to say, the content of Star Of The Show 2.0 is going to be FREE. No DLC payment, everything about this project is now free.   Star Of The Show - Free Release For The Public

This game has been a thrill to work on, with other projects going into hand, I decided to make this one free as well as my previous project, Bashed.OS. I felt these projects should've been free in the first place, it would've been a better start of handling that either way. I'm really happy to have this out for everyone now! Hopefully, things get adjusted in the future. For now, I'm happy to release to you all for the price of nothing. I have been working on something else, you can find some teasers laying around.
