About this game

Years have passed. The threat from once seems so far away and unreal these days. And yet, the appearance of a stranger changes everything. Airic O' Fory brings grim news, a warning that another Dark Foray is about to happen. A danger which could consume Solitas forever. A danger also Erika cannot escape as only the descendants of the Clans of Elements have the power and at least the chance to withstand the threat. Not alone of course, only with united forces.

The alternative doesn't look very promising: The downfall of Solitas, maybe the fall of the world as we know it. Embark on a journey into the unknown. Face unimaginable fears and grim forces and use the power of the elements to destroy the Dark Foray forever.

Step into Erika’s shoes and join her on her seemingly hopeless mission: to find all those who have been chosen to face the dark threat. Assemble a powerful (and at times also cheerful) team that not only supports each other in battle, but also helps one another overcome challenges within the game world.

Face unspeakable creatures that are out to hunt you down. In tactical turn-based battles, it’s up to you to find the right strategy for victory and make the most of your party’s abilities. But it’s not just hostile creatures and enemies that will await you – sometimes it might be just as important to face your own fears.

Along the way, Erika, Lia, Maline and Karen encounter a vast array of characters. Some will have quests available for them, others will be intent on achieving their own selfish goals - and some will offer a weird and strange view on the events happening in Solitas. Only one thing is certain: each of them could steer the story in a completely new direction. Which one, remains to be seen.

Key Features:

  • A massive story: With over 70 hours of gameplay, Elements Destiny captivates players with an emotional narrative that places a strong emphasis on character development.

  • Professional German Voice Acting: With over 40 voice actors, the game features a well-known cast who lend their voices – and their on personalities – to the characters in the game world. And the cool thing is: The German voice acting is available for every language, just like Japanese in the good old days.

  • Classic & Modern: Elements Destiny combines gameplay mechanics from the golden age of JRPGs with modern quality of life features and tight controls. This is complemented by a retro pixel art style featuring high-quality hand-drawn artworks.

  • Take a Turn: Face off against a rich variety of creatures, enemies and perhaps even friends in tactical, turn-based battles that, thanks to their design, remain filled with action throughout the game and never become boring!

  • Mechanics: But that’s not all. Fans of RPGs will also find plenty to keep them entertained. And of course, classic crafting for weapons, potions and trinkets is a must!

  • Listen up!: The powerful soundtrack features over 100 different tracks to suit every situation – from well-known and lesser-known composers, perfectly mixed for the gameplay.

    Gamescom 2026: A new Demo!

Dear Travelers of Solitas!Gamescom is here. It's that time of the year. And we've got some amazing info to share. If you are visiting the showfloor, make sure to find us in Hall 10.2 within the Indie Arena Booth. And bring some time along as we'll have the full game playable there. In both, English and German. From start to finish. But we of course know that for some of you (actually most of you) that's quite impossible as Cologne is very far away. So we also created an all new demo for you to try out. Not only does it contain new content but also represents the near-to-final quality of the actual game now. The previous demo was quite buggy and had a lot of issues, quite a bunch of things were missing and... well, it was time to replace it. Let us know how you like the new one, we're really curious now as the game is close to being done now. How close you may ask? Well well, we've got some amazing news to share: Elements Destiny has passed the Nintendo Quality Assurance checks on first try. Which is rather rare. We will still have to submit a few updates on that build but overall that's a massive milestone for us. One out of three consoles is now done. Which means we won't have to delay the game anymore. 2026 is secured.

    The Beta has begun

The Dark Foray is upon us!We know, we know. It's been a long silence and we're sorry for that. But that time is finally over. Elements Destiny is coming along nicely and we know we haven't said much about a possible release window recently. And we won't today. But we will. Soon. Very soon. We're working on a new Trailer for the game and we'll drop the bomb in July. But what took us so long? Well, there are a few reasons. One is the fact that the game is huge. 60 - 80 hours of content. And we had to get rid of tons of bugs and got us also some help from Just2D, the creators of Drova, to help us solving some critical issues. And to work on the console versions of the game at the very same time. That allowed us to run a Closed Beta earlier this year with German texts. That was when the the translation began as well. 300.000 words. Roughly. And since Elements Destiny has a strong focus on the story, this took time. To achieve the quality we were aiming for. And today we can proudly announce that a Closed Beta with native Speakers has just begun to iron out the last inconsistencies. That being said, the Start Next Beta will also begin in the near future. And as you may have noticed, there are also some new Screenshots on the Steampage already. The whole page will soon get a full update to represent the current state of the game!So long,ShrooMoon

The HP bar will now update correctly at all times. The boss will no longer immediately receive a status effect if the same effect has already been applied to them. Attacks that miss will no longer trigger their corresponding effects. The Elemental Shock status icon will no longer be hidden behind the combat timeline for the Brilliant Scholar enemies. Several problems causing light cones in dark rooms to erroneously turn off have been fixed. Control input in the main menu is now disabled until the scene has loaded. UI text will no longer shift incorrectly. After a game reset, the player will now always start with Erika.
