Equilibrium is a planet simulator with an environmentalist twist – you manage procedurally generated worlds, trying to keep conditions suitable for human habitation.
Manage the happiness of your global human population by providing a clean, liveable environment.
Manage global atmospheric conditions by minimising pollution and encouraging the use of renewable energy and reduced consumption.
Manage global average temperature to ensure ecosystem survival.

Early Access Update #3

Patch Notes: Gameplay Features: Challenge Level 9 is now available to play! In this level the player must perform actions that will increase the planets global temperature in order to generate extreme weather effects that will cause destruction throughout the planet. The main goal of this level is to reach a specific monetary cost due to the destruction the weather effects cause. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40924627/a58c023aa2f2faaab767d1bb093380af5cbb1f5a.png A medal system has been introduced into the game. Medals are achievable when you are playing the challenge levels. These medals include Bronze, Silver and Gold Tiers. These medals include Bronze, Silver and Gold Tiers. Naturally, the Bronze tier is the easiest objective and the Gold objective is the most difficult. They have a chance to appear on the planet when the global temperature is between -4 and 2 degrees. Snowstorms will now melt away when the global temperature of the planet is above 5 degrees. Before we get into the patch notes, we would like to thank everyone who has purchased the game or downloaded the demo and played it. Patch Notes: Controls and Menu Changes: It was brought to our attention on Steam Discussion boards about being able to invert the camera controls, this has now been implemented and can be found in the settings menu when you pause the game Sensitivity for Horizontal and Vertical camera movement can also be adjusted now. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40924627/2a5cd579f6bc5f09c523c56402e797cc2cbdd187.png The Settings menu is easier to scroll through now Support added for 16:9, 16:10 and 4:3 Aspect ratios. This will mostly affect the User Interface positions We have fixed the audio sliders defaulting to 0 instead of 1 when there was no save in the game. Content available in this Update: 3 Tutorial Levels - These levels explain some of the basic steps on how to play the game, as well showcasing some of the fundamental mechanics that will make it into the planned Sandbox Mode. 8 Challenge Levels - Challenge levels challenge the player to use the knowledge that they have learned from the tutorial levels. Full release of Equilibrium will contain: Sandbox Mode - A freeform game made where you choose what happens on your world*. 20+ Puzzle Levels - Expanding from the 8 challenge levels that were released as a part of the first Early Access release, a selection of devious puzzles that will challange the player in different ways.
