The true strength of The Real Driller is his wisdom.
A few months have passed since Frederic Sam Fawkes' fall. Has his soul returned from the Netherworld? Now, a curse has struck Kozankyo and SPASDOT wants Kozan's beloved Crown Princess to vanish. Should it happen, SPASDOT will plague Kozan through communist domination. Hope will rest on the Kozanese Royal Defense Force recruits Susumu Takajima and Kagami Ochiai, who are now searching for an ancient relic for the Crown Princess, but SPASDOT wants to make them die trying. Your ultimate strength can't come from your might, but your mind.
Chuhou Joutai is back for a whole new adventure. You won't be exploring just Kozankyo, but nearby cities as well. The new swaths of danmaku will challenge your reflexes to another level. New enemies, including mythical creatures and Crimsonite types are also here to challenge you as well. Need something to get or to take a breather? Just go to a convenience store or dine out at a sushi bar to see what they offer. If you fail to collect the newtons or ingots from thumped foes, you won't receive clues from the townsfolk for ways to confront the Scarlet Devil again.

Chuhou Joutai 2 has been updated, again
Greetings players. Even though bug fixes would be released on Tuesdays, we have issued another update for the game. This fix includes making sure the achievements are working as expected, and we are lowering the requirement for the "I Seem OP" achievement from 1,000 to 500 newtons, as some players complained the requirement was too high. How are you doing on this Tanabata today? Drillimation Systems on Monday released a new patch for Chuhou Joutai 2. This patch includes a few fixes, including an achievement that could not be unlocked, fixing a text display error in one of Driller's endings in the English version of the game, and you can now take screenshots in-game! Previously, GameMaker had this option on by default, but then they changed the system so that you have to input a bit of code to enable this feature. How are you, players?
Greetings, players. 24 hours have passed since the release of Chuhou Joutai 2: Paraided!. I would say this was my favorite project I ever worked on. Pre-production began during the early part of 2020 when the coronavirus pandemic locked everyone inside, after Chuhou Joutai 1: The Middle State of War completed development. Actual development on the sequel began in November 2020 and took seven months to complete. We were proud to announce its completion in May 2021 and celebrate its release yesterday. To those players who are new to the Drillimation Danmaku Universe, welcome. For those who've played the first Chuhou Joutai, welcome back. We hope you are enjoying the game. We will tweak the game based on player feedback like what we did for the first game. This game was not just intended to be more impressive than the first, but also revolutionary thanks to the new, improved engine we developed. The game's engine was also used in the NES demake version of Touhou 2: The Story of Eastern Wonderland. Since that game is freeware, you can play this game and really learn how Chuhou Joutai 2 came to be. As always, we truly thank those who were anticipating its completion and release, if you are following us on Twitter and Instagram. Giving this game a cult following can really help us grow.
