About this game

Aplestia:Retold unravels the story of Britton, Summer, Rover and Marina, four friends that went on their first S Class Quest by mistake! Even though they are still rookie adventurers, they will try their best to tackle on a difficult, gem-related and full of mystery adventure! Follow their steps as they travel on the colorful and gem-monster pested Aplestia island! They will have to find secrets, solve problems, defeat various enemies and complete quests!

For the most part, this adventure will challenge your exploration prowess. Secret rooms, super secret rooms, ancient ruins and hidden places are all there, waiting to be discovered. Be ready to utilize a plethora of skills, spells and permanent stat boosts to maximize your strategy! Epic weapons, armors and rings, unlockable mini-dungeons that will test your wit and powers, shops, side quests and interactive objects and characters! All of that and more are waiting for you on Aplestia:Retold!

Will Britton, Summer, Rover and Marina be able to help the people of the island? Will they put a stop to darkness’ plan? Aplestia:Retold is the remade version of the 2017 game Aplestia and answers all of that and even more. This remade version features double the content, more story, lore and information about the world, technical fixes and better versions of previous mechanics. In addition, many new quests, places to visit and a completely reworked soundtrack are waiting for you to explore them!

  Aplestia:Retold's first update

  Aplestia:Retold received its first update, addressing various issues. The update should start automatically for your game. If it doesn't, please validate the files through your game library here on Steam. Below you can read the changes. More powerful heroes Stat curve for all four playable characters has been raised by a small amount. This will make the characters more powerful by leveling up. Furthermore, more permanent boost potions are given throughout the game. Namely two Nemean Beverages, four Herculean Potions, three Circe's Drinks, three Cassiopeia's Tonics, one Centaur's Draught and one Lyra's Mixture have been added as rewards or loot. Some enemy changes Enemies now drop more gold than before - sometimes even double than before! This will help every player change the difficulty easier and buy anything without remorse. Lord Verdelite's stats have been reduced by a very small amount to make the fight a bit easier. New area! The Great Composting Area is now available for all players who defeated the Clockwork King. After being victorious, a treasure chest appears behind the king which contains a rope. Use the rope to the designated spot in the room to create a way towards the Great Composting Area, where you can fight with random battles. This will be a way to grind for experience and loot for anyone wanting to become even more powerful. The area also contains a Herculean Potion. Have fun!

  Aplestia:Retold released!

  Greetings! Hello adventurers! The remade version of the old Aplestia game is now live! Aplestia:Retold promises many changes, a lot of additions and new adventures in comparison to the old game. There was also a conscious decision to safeguard the naive, rustic and amateur-ish atmosphere of Aplestia, wrapped with a modern feel and interesting visuals. Furthermore, there are no achievements for quest completion in any mode because my statistics say that very few players bother to complete a game in Hard or Harder difficulty modes just for achievements. You may unlock everything even in Story Mode! I hope you have a lot of fun with this adventure! More There is also a walkthrough guide available but Steam will approve it in a couple of days, so it's not purchasable right now. The guide will offer a play-along playthrough of the game in Normal Mode so that you won't lose any secrets or quests!
