About this game

As the newest resident and teahouse owner in town, you’ll learn everything there is to tea.
Learn new rituals and tea-making styles to make an endless combination of recipes. Build relationships with the townsfolk, and visit their teahouses to purchase exclusive teaware and ingredients.

There are over 10 unique characters in town for you to get to know, with 7 distinct teahouses to visit, and endless tea combinations to try! Make tea in a number of different styles and teaware, and choose what to serve the townsfolk and customers (but don't forget, they all have their own likes and dislikes!).



Starting a new life in an old teahouse can come with its own challenges, but it's nothing a bit of fresh paint, hard work, and a few cups of tea can't fix! Upgrade and customize your teahouse with your own choice of decor, and unlock new items from the townsfolk to help in your tea-making endeavors.



Having tea together is more than just a drink, it's a chance to get to spend time together-- you'll learn what tea means to others through various rituals, ceremonies, and one-on-one conversations.

We're always excited for more folks to discover our little cat-filled tea world while we keep working behind the scenes.An Update on Pekoe's DevelopmentWe wanted to take a moment to share an update on Pekoe. While it’s still available in Early Access, you may have noticed we haven’t released a new update in some time.A lot of the content we’ve been creating has been tied up in optimization and prep work to make Pekoe run smoothly, not just on PC, but on other platforms too. That process has taken longer than we expected, and it’s been blocking us from rolling out the regular updates we’d hoped to share. As a small team, our development on Capy Castaway also takes up most of our time, and we want to be transparent that we are doing our best to make our games while still keeping the studio running. We know it can be frustrating to see the game still in Early Access without visible changes, and we’re incredibly grateful for your patience and support. Pekoe is still (slowly) in development, and if that changes, share that with you too.

  Important update regarding the Early Access status of Pekoe.

  🌸 Hey Tea Makers! 🌸 We’ve got an important update about Pekoe’s Early Access. It wasn’t an easy choice, but we made this decision with the game and our team’s well-being in mind. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40715618/90d8db7a85e890f4ae93b4eb0db7cbaf38813a04.png We love Pekoe and want to see it thrive as much as you do. That’s why we’ve made the tough decision to extend Early Access, despite previously announcing a 1.0 launch in Q4 2024. Why extend Early Access? Unforeseen complications have made it clear that Pekoe isn’t ready to leave Early Access just yet. We’ve implemented some significant changes to improve the game’s feel and performance in the long run. Our goal is to ensure you have the best, most cozy tea-making experience possible. What does this mean? While 1.0 won’t be released this year, we’re still actively working on content and updates! This next one is a big step forward, and we’ve got even more exciting news to share soon. When will Pekoe leave Early Access? We don’t have a specific date yet, but we’ll continue to listen to your feedback and keep you updated as we progress. How are we involving the community in development?
