About the Game

Brendan Keogh’s Putting Challenge is a relaxing open-world golf game about all the parts other golf videogames cut out. Sounds tedious? It sort of is.

With up to four players on a single device (or online by using Remote Play), you have complete freedom to explore the massive open-world at your own pace with your friends. Play a round of mini-golf, compete on a full 9 hole course, go for a bike ride or just see who can hit the ball the furthest at the driving range. It’s entirely up to you.

Originally developed in Pico-8, this labour of love has been painstakingly rebuilt and expanded on to include a larger world and more features, while retaining the original 8-bit retro charm.

  Brendan Keogh's Putting Land: Now available on Playdate!

  Hi everyone! Thanks again for all your support with Brendan Keogh's Putting Challenge over the last couple of years! I'm so thrilled at how well it has been received. The last couple of years I have been working on a new game, Brendan Keogh's Putting Land, for Panic's Playdate console, and I'm excited to announce it is available now on the Playdate's Catalog store. I remade the game from the ground up, thinking of it as sort of like a 'Gameboy demake' of a Super NES game. The game has two brand new golf courses, as well as a brand new hitting mode that uses the crank like a cute little golf club. If you have a Playdate, please check it out! Cheers Brendan

  BKPC Is Actually On Sale This Time

Yeah we know it's probably similar to whatever the previous price was, but you know what they say- "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush". Not entirely sure what it means, but it feels like a golfing term? It has birdies and bushes.   BKPC is on "Sale" for MIGW23

  It's the Melbourne International Games Week Steam Event! It's a fantastic event which showcases a bunch of locally made games and features demos, sales and broadcasts! To celebrate, Brendan Keogh's Putting Challenge will be "on sale"* for the new price of $5.99 USD, which is roughly a 15% increase! Valve recently changed the rules around the cost of games and the minimum for sales. BKPC fell well well below that threshold so we've updated the cost to reflect these changes, but that also meant we weren't allowed to officially discount the game.
