About this game
Over the course of the game you will visit levels from the Tropics, Jungle, Tundra and Volcanic. Each island has its own interesting puzzle mechanics, as well as new types of cannons.
The better solution you find on a level, the more stars you get. The ultimate goal of the game is to get all 168 stars.
Key Features
- Relaxing gameplay
You can take as much time as you need to solve a level, and you can try as many times as you want. You can always return to a level later on if you want to get more stars. - Tricky puzzles
Loot Slider challenges you to figure out where to place cannons, in what direction to aim them and in what order they should fire. This creates a ton of variety, and lots of tricky levels. - Clever mechanics
As you get further in the game, new cannons are introduced - the Repeater and Heavy Cannon. Each new world comes with its own set of unique mechanics and obstacles, such as totems, ice and lava cracks. - Catchy soundtrack
While trying to figure out how to get those stars, you'll have some melodic and catchy songs to listen to in the background. - Star collection
In each level you can earn up to 3 stars. Every star require you to accomplish an objective, such as opening a certain amount of chests, or not using more than a specific number of cannons. If your aim is to get all 168 stars, you're in for a challenging but rewarding journey

Major content patch 1.1
The second patch includes new content: 14 new levels, bringing the total number of levels up to 70! These new levels are available as soon as you have at least 40 stars. You will then be able to travel to Skull Island, which contains optional levels that are extra challenging. In these levels you will collect medals (bronze, silver and gold) instead of stars. If you've played before and already got 40 stars you can of course start playing the new levels immediately! Full patch notes below. New Features: A new map named 'Skull Island'. You can switch to it by clicking a special button that appears once you have 40 stars. 14 new levels where you gather medals, as proof of your amazing puzzle solving abilities. 10 new achievements to unlock: all of them are connected to clearing levels on Skull Island. A new type of level: Bounty. In these levels you collect coins, but only in a single round. The nature of these levels are more like the regular puzzle levels of the game. A couple of hybrid levels, combining certain mechanics of the game in new, interesting ways. You might be able to spot a small clue to what's next in store for Loot Slider on Skull Island! We're still aiming to release a new world with new mechanics, as well as a couple of the bug fixes later this year.Read full article on Community Announcements (Retrofied Games)Patch NotesOfficial
Minor patch 1.0.2
The first post-release patch introduces a couple of small features and fixes a number of levels and bugs. There aren't any major new content for now, but we're planning to add new features in an upcoming patch, possibly including new levels. Stay tuned! Full patch notes below: New Features: Version number is now visible on the main menu. A "Game Saved" message will now appear whenever the game has been saved (each time you get more stars or find a new diamond). The name of the current level is now visible in the pause menu. End game credits will now start automatically the first time you beat the final level, and they can be skipped by pressing 'Escape'. The first two hidden diamonds in the game are now slightly easier to notice. Game Balance: Tropics level "High and Row" was deemed too easy to get a low number of cannons on, and has been rebalanced. Volcanic level "Blazing Block" had a solution that was deemed too easy. That particular solution should not be possible any longer. The level has also been renamed to "Combustive Obstructions". Hidden levels do not require the level where the diamond was found to be completed any longer, only that the diamond has been found. A couple of tutorial messages has been shuffled around, in order to make some things more clear. Bug Fixes: Fixed an issue on Jungle level "Line 'em Up": Chests can no longer be moved into a certain pit tile. Fixed an issue on Jungle level "Totemic Tuition": Cannon border slots didn't have any collision detection, so chests and blocks could go right through them. Fixed an issue where already obtained stars showing as silver stars on the victory screen would be slightly visible behind currently obtained stars (shown in gold). Some levels had minor graphical issues that have been fixed. Fixed an issue when collecting a hidden diamond: resetting or reloading the level would still show the diamond when revealed (on some levels). An issue where a hidden level would first load on the map, but then suddenl...Read full article on Community Announcements (Retrofied Games)
