---------------------------

Bunhouse is a cute couch co-hop game focused on growing plants and managing a greenhouse with fellow buns.

Sometimes life is hectic. Sometimes we just need to take a breather and relax in a happy little world filled with bunnies. This is the core vision of Bunhouse – a game you can play solo or with your friends to relax and be happy. There is nothing to kill, no one to be better than, no quests or debt to pay off, just some plants that need watering and a greenhouse full of possibility.

Bunhouse can be enjoyed with up to four friends locally (on the same computer), provided you have at least one less controller than the number of people that want to play. For example, if you would like to play with three people, you'll need either three controllers, or two controllers and a keyboard. Bunhouse does not have native online multiplayer (and as a solo developer inexperienced in networking, it likely will not receive online multiplayer in the future). Still, online multiplayer is technically possible with Steam's Remote Play Together feature.

Important note: if you plan to buy this game so you can use Steam's Remote Play Together feature, the hosting computer may use keyboard or controllers, but the other connected computers will need to have controllers for it to work. This is a limitation of how Unreal Engine handles local play, and there is sadly nothing I can do to change it.

Thank you and have fun!

System Requirements

Will my PC run this? →

Minimum

Minimum:
  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS *: Windows 10 (untested on Windows 7, 8, and 11 but ya know, it probably works)
  • Processor: Intel i5 or Ryzen 5 3600
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GTX 1050 (you probably can't run this on your momma's generic laptop)
  • Storage: 3 GB available space
  • Sound Card: Yeah probably have one of these
  • Additional Notes: Look, I'll level with you, I'm a solo dev with limited experience in optimization using a resource-hungry engine so you're going to need a mid-tier gaming computer if you want to keep up a good fps and visual fidelity.

Bunhouse's Spiritual Successor, Cinnabunny, Has Just Released!

It's hard to believe this all started three and a half years ago with the release of Bunhouse. A lovable community rose up quickly around the adorable little virtual rabbits. Well, I've worked very hard over the past few years on a far more ambitious project with way more to do, thousands of lines of dialogue, and even fluffier rabbits. I think of it as a love letter to all the people who helped support me with Bunhouse. And thus, Cinnabunny was born! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40485054/48220899e7850346e30a1fd9c6f3483f321d9641.jpg Cinnabunny is a rabbit-filled life sim baking game. If you are able to check it out, I would be again ever so grateful. And I sincerely hope you have a wonderful time with it for those who do play! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2794830/Cinnabunny/ Take care, Patrick, Reky Studios

Cinnabunny, my upcoming bunny baking game, is now live on Kickstarter!

My next game, Cinnabunny, is a cozy life simulator game where you play as a bunny who runs a bakery. Unlock new recipes, go birdwatching, collect mushrooms, and charm your community. As of a few minutes ago, Cinnabunny is officially live on Kickstarter! You've all been so wonderful throughout the Bunhouse development process, I wanted my next game to be a love letter of sorts to all the Bunhouse fans. Everything I couldn't quite achieve at the time I made Bunhouse, I put into this new project. I would be greatly honored for you to join me on the next journey! Check out the short Kickstarter launch trailer below: Thank you all so much!
